Emergency crews are on the scene of a chemical fire that sent thick, black clouds of smoke into the air at a southside industrial park.

The blaze began around 1:30 p.m. in a commercial building at 42 Street and 91A Avenue.
Anyone know what's up with this? I was driving down whitemud and I saw a whole bunch of roads closed off because of this.

It's literally two blocks from where I work. Hoping its cleaned up 7 AM tommorow.

Ya, scary stuff, toxic smoke warnings, people told to go indoors, close windows, turn of furnances.

I watched the news last night and the owner was talking about this is apart of the business. I won't be shocked if it comes up that they burnt her down to the ground for insurance.

Yeah if you read the comments on the Sun's website there are a lot of people calling out the management and the CEO of the company and saying how greasy they are.

Doesn't sound like they had too good of a reputation.

Some harsh words. I know nothing about that company, but just got the impression that the CEO was a grease ball.

I work right near that place, fire department crews seem to be there once a month.
