Another solid choice for a mod.

Good luck, s7ark.

That don't look like no double, but oh well, thanks.

A few hints.

Its really easy as a mod to accidentally "edit" somebodies posts because the edit button is located where the quote button used to be for you. This will happen and you will go "oh ****"..

Some strange things can happen with the merge threads function as they end up in Boston...

If you have the magic key and the secret decoder ring its possible to temporarily ban other posters or mods from the Oilers board or send them exclusively to the Colorado board or the Lounge(gasp) Thats like crash landing on Pluto.

People listen more when you tell them you're Ted Green. Not sure why, but Mike Tyson didn't work out plus he kept biting infractors.. Oh and get a tougher aviator.

The Oilers board has more mods than the Trade Proposals board.

I love it

I never get the whole 'mod' thing.... its the internet... nobody knows you, you dont get paid, who cares. its like being manager at mcdonalds, a lot of responsibility and no pay or maybe a mall cop is a better analogy?

You have the mods so this place doesn't become a zoo. Some people like to "volunteer" so this doesn't happen.

Not volunteers, Sadists.

Or is it Masochist?

Doesn't matter, pretty sure they both apply to mods. Congrats s7ark!

There is a site. Somewhat the anti hf with oits rules. Where almost anything went. Once some people found out about it they went off the deep end and it reconfirmed the fact control is needed for the inmates

Some people appreciate community and keeping it clean and free of attention seeking individuals... I'm sure we've all seen a few of those around here

Good to see another solid long term poster have a say in what flies around here.

(I apologize in advance )

I know a number of people here and have met them personally. It is not a paying gig but if you're into **** talking people then there are plenty of other places out there where you won't have to deal with me or others like me. If you don't care then why would you care if you got banned? Something tells me you would. There's enough BS on the internet elsewhere and sometimes even here, however that isn't what everyone wants. If you want to talk hockey and shoot the **** this is the place to do it, if you want to pick fights because you can hide behind your computer then this probably isn't a good place to do so.

So, 2 things:

(1) You agree we all should respack our edlers, no?

(2) To gauge just how old you might be (and to segue into something else I wanted to say in any event) - every single time I see the name s7ark, I think of 7 Zark 7. Do you know who that is?

1) Respect is EARNED no matter how old you are

2) No clue, maybe from the Jetsons? I wasn't big on watching that show.
