According to Mirtle from Globe & Mail.

Good number imo.
Right where he should be.

Excellent signing by Gillis if in infact this number is correct.

Yes. Yes. Yes. YES. YES. YES. YES! YES! YES! YES!!!

Anything less then 2 is a steal. I don't buy the whole "he could score 50 goals in the right circumstances" thing Gillis said last year or the year before, but he's a defensive stud, great skating, vision and physicality, and incredibly under rated/under used offensive abilities.

So Oreo as our sole remaining RFA, Winchester and Nolan are the rumours for the bottom 6...we have the depth, now we just need a 1st/2nd line all around winger for Kesler.

I thought it was a long contract. But for those numbers you can't really go wrong. Nice signing.

Nobody is forcing you to respond to his response.

Anyway. Wow. Amazing cap hit for that length of deal. Now get whoever worked with Kesler to teach Hansen how to shoot.

It was Kesler and Kesler's dad doing 300 wrist shots daily in the garage all summer

Quick question, assuming Oreskovich signs for around 800k, that leaves the canucks with 1.7 mil in cap space.

If they have this cap space at the trade deadline, how much is that worth in terms of someone's full annual salary. Say around 4 mil? is that accurate?

I wonder who MG could pry at the deadline? PS Im still destroyed over the SCF

Highway robbery by the Canucks, they totally owned Hansen's agent.

Hansen was the most consistently effective Canuck forward in the playoffs. This is supported by the stats - best +/- per 60 and by far the biggest differential between on and off ice.

Condition of contract is that he has to bunk with the Keslers for the rest of summer!

No kidding. Although he probably could've kept Ehrhoff if he signed him mid-season.

If a team spends an averaged salary of 63 million until the TD, then they can spend up to 69 million averaged salary after the TD.
