I read somewhere that Nylander wants to play college hockey and therefore won't play professional hockey in Allsvenskan because that would make him ineligible to play in college. I have no idea how the rules look like but I find it a bit weird that he has yet to even be an extra player on the SSK senior team.
Oskar Norlöv who went undrafted is exploding on the scoresheet. 6 points tonight.. 32 in 16 games. Nyllet continuing where he left with 3 pts. 1 & 2 in the scoring race respectively.
I just noticed that Felix Sandström has 5 shutouts in a row for Brynäs J18. 86 shots faced in that span. 95.61 sv% for the season, 0.90 GAA and 8 SO in 11 games. Not bad for a 15 yo..
Sandström is btw not on the next U16 elite camp roster (link), so I think it's a big chance he will be going with the U17 team to WHC.

Lindab Arena, tittar på en av de värsta talangerna jag sett!! William Nylander!! Fruktansvärt imponerad, Måste provas till JVM.
Nylander 4, Norlöv 2 in the scoring race matchup today. There's no slowing down there.
Burakovsky playing J18 tonight. Hope it's just to get him going and not the rumored demotion because of the Frölunda talks.
They had Rasmus Andersson playing J18 too so I doubt it has anything to do with it. Or has Andersson also signed with Frölunda?
And while we're on the subject, I'm not a big fan of the signing of Burakovsky. I don't understand it at all, not from Frölunda's perspective nor Burakovsky's. He's having trouble contributing in Allsvenskan, does Rönnberg seriously believe he'll do better in Elitserien? Or is the plan for him to be playing J20 with Frölunda instead of Malmö? Something wrong down there besides the economy that makes him want to switch teams? Backup plan if whoever drafts him wants him to stay in Sweden instead of playing in the CHL?
Frölunda have a bunch of their own juniors who I see ahead of him who should be playing in the SEL next year. I hope Rönnberg realise that.

Agree, Burakovsky should play another year in Malmö. He has to mature as a player before taking the step to any higher level. Rasmus Andersson has been playing on the wing for Malmö J18, thats interesting. It must be the same guy right?
Axel Holmström with 2 goals for SAIK in, I believe, his j20 debut. Watching his j18 stats(more points than Mäkitalo) and remembering his strong play in TV-pucken, I'm a bit surprised he isn't on the U17 WCH camp roster.
We touched this earlier aswell, but seems even stranger now.
