Paled a few games o nthe FIFA demo. I probably have to try on beginner or an inferior opponent. Seems far too realistic for me, can't get much going offensively, controls are a bit complex for my liking. Ref seems really crap, I tried to pass, it went into the sidelines off Milan player (was playing with Barca), they get the throw in??? Plus I was coming to receive a pass in the Milan penalty area with Messi, suddenly a Milan player goes down, Messi gets called for a foul. Replay showed no contact.

Always been a fifa fan, and I really like this demo. The new defense mechanisms seem a bit hard, so it'll take some time getting used to it. Mario Gotze looks like he's gonna be a beast in this game tho

The only bad part about this game is the commentary, I always liked the Andy Gray's "analysis". The new guy, whatever his name is sounds atrocious. The game wouldve been much better if it had Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend (the World Cup video game's commentators) in it.

people want the game as realistic as possible, than EA makes is as realistic as they can and people complain.

FIFA is the best sports game hands down

Fifa is amazing. I don't know how to curve the ball though.

This game is amazing. It's gonna take some getting used to but the mechanics are fantastic.

Defence is hard and I'm still not very apt at tactical defending but I'm getting better. I had lots of trouble scoring goals until I figured that what I couldn't do on defence anymore, the AI could not do either. You have way more space for runs, it's hard to penetrate the opponent's defence but at least players don't run straight at you to take the ball all the damn time.

You really see the difference of pace between the players, I can no longer make runs with Pique but it's impressive to see Messi accelerate, he blows past defenders like in real life.

Can't wait for the retail version.

NBA 2K11 holds that crown easily right now.

Since when is FIFA12 a great simulation or previous iterations ?

I am continually amazed that people get sucked in by the ea hype machine before realizing it is the same old rubbish repackaged.

FIFA is just as full of bugs, terrible gameplay with a lack of individuality between teams and players as PES has been criticized for.

Having played both demos PES still has areas of weakness in the goalkeeping and animations department but it's AI and gameplay knock socks off EA's offering.

Downloaded the FIFA 12 demo yesterday.

WOW! Defending is going to take a LOT of time getting used to.

The game is really really good. Can't wait to buy the real thing!

Is there a list of improvements from FIFA 11 to 12? I love 11 and am considering 12, but want to know what's different.

downloaded the demo of FIFA 12

This game is top notch, probably one of the best I've ever played, and is hard as balls.

Am I the only one that got destroyed in the 1st game?

I played on the Intermediate level, and l0-1 to Milan with Barca, though that was my own fault as I opened with Valdes straight into Pato's feet (Yes, I recognize the irony considering last night's result). The following games were more even but I wasn't very close to scoring...

PES demo out today, 1.88 gigs. Taking forever to download...

I played on intermediate. Barc vs AC Milan (me) and I got a hat trick with Pato. It was pretty lucky though.

fifa admits they give messi beast mode. yea he is good, but he is still subject to most laws of physics.

looks like it's getting more difficult which is nice. i'm sure it won't be long before people figure scoring out.

First game on the PES demo. Regular difficulty level, Spurs (me) vs Rangers. Lost 2-3. Spurs defence rated 91!!!! First Rangers goal was deflected in from one of my players, second was a through ball were my defense was no where to be seen. Tied it around 5 minuted to go when Rangers pass ricochet off of Bale to a wide open Palyuchenko who scored to make it 2-2. Rangers make one last attack, cross from the left I head it out of the box to the LEFT corner of the penalty area, where a Rangers player ACROBATICALLY VOLLEYS IT TO THE TOP RIGHT CORNER!!

I have to admit I enjoyed it still more than FIFA. Felt much more fun to play even if I didn't know the controls much which was the case with FIFA as well. Looks like it has a better sound track than FIFA as well.
