He has consistently been one of the top RTs in football the past 5 years.

Its a crying shame he hasent made multiple pro-bowls.

One of the most underrated (even by Giants fans) players in the league.

He was good, but to me saying Kareem McKenzie is top 5 is like saying Chris Drury is top 5. Not these days he isn't.

I must be talking about a twin brother with the same name because we're just not seeing the same Kareem McKenzie here

Yeah, you seem to be watching a different played than everyone else.

I think the available metrics continue to show he's a great RT.

Only time I saw him struggle at all last season was against the Colts and Mathis.

Other than that, he was incredibly solid all year, and the past five or so years.

Hes an above average pass blocker, and still a dominant run blocker.

Maybe it's because I'm not such a big metrics guy.

Maybe that Colts game where Mathis burnt him is really sticking in your head... That game is literally the only time I've seen Kareem get beat more than 1 or 2 times a game.

Absolutely a top 5 RT metrics or not metrics.

I'm getting PO'd at the Giants front office right now. John Clayton just reported that the Giants and Ahmad Bradshaw aren't close to a deal. WTF have they been doing? There are no other good free agent running backs on the market. If they lose AB, they are SIGNIFICANTLY weaker on offense.

And they can't just give the guy a bunch of guaranteed money. There are not a lot of RBs on the market but also not a lot of teams that need RBs. The market is just as thin for players as it is for teams. If not thinner.

The Giants REALLY think they have something in Scott, so they are probably using that against Bradshaw in negotiations. RBs are replaceable. Pure and simple.

Allow me to explain how this is working.

Giants give Bradshaw probably a fairly decent offer.

Bradshaw and his agent Rosenhaus want to see if he can get more...

Reports come out from Rosenhaus side that Bradshaw is very interesting in going to the dolphins.

Dolphins announce later that they have traded for Reggie Bush, and are out of the market for another HB.

Giants keep the same offer on the table for bradshaw.

A day or so later, after not hearing from any other team, Rosenhaus puts out another report..

This report says that Bradshaw and the giants are far apart, and bradshaw is going to visit the bengals.

1 minute later, an official ESPN report comes out that the bengals have resigned Benson.

5 minutes later, the giants side comes out with a report that the giants are interested in a different FA HB, Snelling.

All the while, the same offer is on the table for bradshaw.

This is how negotiations work in the NFL if you arent willing (or able) to over pay for a player. And I love the way the giants are handling this.

Giants have brought back David Carr to play back up. Always like the guy (as a back up) and I think could be capable of running the offense if Eli ever went down.

All that is fine until a random team comes out of nowhere and pays Bradshaw what he is asking for- and then the Giants running game gets weaker.

Don't know if its been posted or not but Osi has requested a trade to Seattle. I don't think there's a single player on Seattle I would take 1 for 1 for Osi. Maybe Aaron Curry.

When another team actually gives him that offer, then he can take that to the giants to see if they are willing to match.

Cant just keep raising their offer for him despite nobody else being interested. Thats how you overpay and screw yourself with the cap

aaron curry is only decent, and is due 10 mil this season...

If they could afford curry, they could afford to keep Osi...

I would think if they do trade Osi, they would just try to get a 1st round pick.... which they would use to select another DE next year.
