Peeters, Snow, Hextall and Burke are all currently employed by NHL teams; that might be a factor.

Wregget, not too sure of his current situation. His son plays for Ohio State's club hockey team (not the NCAA team).

Keystone is pure win, I am skeptical of that being the real jersey but I hope they use the keystone.

Only thing I don't like is the drawstring. In general I think they're ugly and I don't think the Flyers ever wore jerseys with them.

I like that jersey the best out of all the other rumored jerseys. I like the Keystone patch, but I wouldn't mind if they didn't use it. I'm pretty tired of the rumored jerseys based off sweatshirts, but atleast this one is better than the black shoulder style that was floating around a few weeks ago.

This is why some people will be for some jerseys and some won't... and the same with aspects of different proposed or actual jerseys... I personally like the drawstring and have wished they had used them before.

The only real concern I have with the keystone is how it crowds the jersey... would have been better as the shape of the WC patch, imo.

This version as I see it is merely the present home jersey with the arm stripes going the opposite direction... around the arm rather than along it... a subtle yet important change that keeps the spirit of the current regular jerseys.

Was the highlighted a Freudian slip typo... or merely your being witty?

Lindros has accepted the invitation and Clarke said he was not mad and will shake his hand... It is only drama if people make it so.

It's over... move it along, people... nothing to see here.

At the bottom of this blog, it says that even though Renberg is commited to his broadcasting job, he is still trying to get out of it to attend the Winter Classic:

Apparently, Shjon Podein is another player who has agreed to play in the Alumni Game.

What are the chances of us seeing the Minnesota line being reunited?

Hell, Joel Otto has already played with the Flames in their alumni game last winter.

Not to be a debbie downer . . .

I'm getting less and less interested in the Winter Classic with each passing day. It is all so much b.s. with the uncertain Alumni lineup, the great jersey mystery, the grossly high ticket prices/unavailability, etc. Fugit.

Looking forward to the Playoffs more (assuming Flyers make them this year).

The 3M Line. Invitations were sent to many players, I'm not sure who has officially committed.

Mike Keenan is coaching the Rangers.

I think I am going to go to the Phantoms game, Tickets are a reasonable price and it should be fun.

Where do you guys think would be some good places to sit?

I'm wondering then who will coach Flyers... I haven't heard a word on it.

Options among past Flyers coaches:

Stevens? out there in LA and busy

Hitchcock? now in St. Louis and busy

Barber? will be playing

Ramsey? I believe he is now available being dismissed by he Thrashers

Neilson? is sadly deceased

Cashman? ... ... uh...NO

Murray? also in LA and busy

Simpson? I'd rather not bother

Dineen? see Simpson

Holmgren? Committed to play

Keenan? Rangers grabbed him already

Quinn? He has my vote

McCammon? I wouldn't trust him... he's want Homer's job while there

Shero? also sadly deceased

Stasiuk? if alive, too old

Allen? Would loved it... but he is too old also

I want Pat Quinn... if not, have Homer coach rather than play.

I'm frustrated as a youth ice hockey club. We cannot even buy a pair of tickets to raffle off as a fundraiser - we thought that would be a great way to raise moneys for a small team. You would think the NHL would let local clubs to buy a couple. What a bummer. Plus, looking at second hand sites, you know a lot of broker bought blocks of tickets.
