Frivolous Summer Hockey Thread #1 -- Passing The Time Until Camp Opens

We need a little levity around here now that all of the RFAs are safely signed and put away and Brad Richards is shopping for a condo in NYC.

Sooooooo...

This should make for a good argument.

Summer question #1; WHEN the Rangers win the Stanley Cup, who is the first person Ryan Callahan will pass the Cup to and why?

I've personally never seen the goalie get the cup handed to him first but I'd say Hank...because he will probably stand on his dam head as always.

If not Hank then one of the alternate captains, core guys. Dubi, Staal etc. Tough to predict though as I'm sure a lot of it will be based on performances in the playoffs.

Awards:
I'd say Hank because he'll likely be the longest tenured Ranger.

Hank, then Dubi, Staal, followed by the veterans or the oldest. I think that's how Boston did it.

Don't believe in jinxes.

Lundqvist, because the kind of playoffs he needs to have for us to go that far would be tremendous. Conn-Smyth esque.

I would say Lundqvist, but depending on how Richards does and when we win, he might get it next after Lundqvist.

It won't be Dubinsky because he just handed it to Callahan. Hey oh!

Your New York Rangers License Plates

I got into a discussion today with a random guy who saw my plate in a parkinglot and was wondering what other people have on their license plates in terms of tributes to their beloved NYR?
Mine is a new York ranger logo ate that says DOMI

what does your say?

I seen a NYR Logo plate yesterday that said Blu4IC thought that was clever

Anyways, shoot

Should be Hank, who'll probably be 32+ when we have a legitimate chance to win.

It will be captain Nail Yakupov handing the cup to Christian Thomas while fumbling with his Conn Smythe trophy.
