Södertälje - Frölunda 3-4 (0-1, 2-2, 1-0, 0-1)

0-1 Martin Plüss (Peter Högard)
1-1 Dragan Umicevic (Linus Videll)
2-1 Joakim Eriksson (Robert Döme)
2-2 J-A Alavaara
2-3 Jonas Johnson (Niklas Andersson, Tomi Kallio)
3-3 Gabriel Karlsson (Robert Carlsson)
3-4 Niklas Andersson (Jonas Johnson)

Quote:

Umicevic seems to be doing alright in these games. If he keeps a good attitude this year, how do you see him playing? Could he put up decent numbers? Will he stay in the Elite league?

I think he will stay on the team. From what I have read and heard now during preseason he is working harder than ever and has been doing really well in these preseason games. Decent numbers? I think so, 10-15 points would be decent, 20+ points would be really good.

If anyone knows, is Fransson still nursing his injury, or is he just a non-factor in Luleå's preseason so far?

Linköping is slowly becoming a hockey mecka in Sweden
Seriously, it is great to see that there is such interest in the sport in Linköping.

And I agree.. that line is awesome.. although it will have nothing on Huselius - Morrison - Knuble!

Yeah it's great. And if you remember the discussion I tried to start about unexplored market towns in sweden I think the same could be done in other places in sweden. Why not have a rival team in Norrköping, I think that would give some great derby matches and alot of local publicity. It's great what they have done in Linköping and it's towns like Linköping and Växjö that brings new hope to hockey in sweden.

I really think Mårtensson could be a man for the national team this season (although the competition will be harder than ever this season), he priduced a lot of points in the rough AHL. He could be a major surprise!

Good for them!

I still think they will be dead last in the standings at the end of the season..

The coaching staff have been very pleased with his work ethics this year, in contrast to last season. And yes he will stay with Södertälje SK in the SEL, the team have already made their cuts for this season.
