Has anyone gotten lettering done by sportsk.com? Thinking about sending them a blank, was just curious if anyone has any reviews.

Their work is flawless... I've had about 7 or 8 jerseys done by them and they all came out excellent.

IK this is what half the post are going to be about but,

I need a C added to my Callahan jersey. I am in upstate NY so I cant go to MSG. I was referred to JerseyExpress, but I spoke to the women there and it seemed a little werid. She said they have the material and cut the C out of the correct colors then sew it onto the jersey. Is that how they are all done? I thought the C would come already cut out. I just dont want one that is misshapen.

Opinions? other options near upstate NY...

edit: just spoke to them at icejerseys. They say its the same font and colors but the size may be slightly off. She said if you took a ruler an measured it may be off by like half an inch or so. Any way to order an authentic one? maybe i'll just take a weekend and drive down to Cosbys or MSG

General question. What is the best way to go about getting myself an authentic home Callahan jersey? Should I buy a jersey from shop.nhl.com and have someone else do the lettering and numbers... or just buy the authentic already complete with name and... now the "C"

Found this on pro-jerseys.com's Ebay store.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/REEBOK-2012-...item519a34d2f0

Heard good things about these guys... are they for real or am I gonna get a second rate knockoff?

Yeah, it's legit. It's one of the premier jerseys aka the replica's like trueblue said. Only thing that annoys me with them is they don't have the nameplate, they're stitched straight onto the jersey (basing it off the picture, maybe someone that has ordered from them can confirm.)

So if they actually sow the numbers and letters on ala the authentics, what's the difference between this one and an authentic from the NHL store. I'm willing to spend the money on the authentic, but if they are practically identical I'd just go with the pro-jersey.com Premier.

The NHL store iron presses the numbers and name. All other sites professionally hand sew the name and number onto the jersey. Also, the NHL store is a ****load more expensive.

Authentics are a lot different. It's basically a different type of material used for the jerseys, it's thinner, more form fitting etc.

I have an authentic EDGE Heritage Boogaard jersey that I got off NHL.com during Black Friday, last year, and it's awesome. It's def the same at the NHL store.

It's the Premier (replica) jersey that suck from the NHL store.

For anyone that's curious, I went into Cosby's today and they said it cost 14 dollars to change the A to a C for Cally jerseys. 7 to take off the A and 7 to put on the C.

also for anyone not in the NYC area (like myself), you can mail the jersey to them and they will add the letter for $20 (including shipping back), probably a little bit more if they have to remove the A

Captain Callahan's jersey shipping overnight!

Can't wait till it comes. Will alternate between this jersey and my Heritage Leetch jersey when I go to MSG.

Anyone know how long it will take for the revealing of the WC jerseys after they officially announce the event?

Would imagine very soon after. I don't think the actually jerseys will differ much from what we've seen already.

So, since I'm getting an authentic Callahan jersey with the C, do you think a WC jersey would be cool, or should I go with one of the other Ranger jerseys?

You could get a Heritage jersey, those are nice. Maybe wait until we see the official WC jersey's and then make your decision.

I'm never buying an authentic jersey again after the ridiculous price increase when RBK unveiled the new "EDGE" jerseys.... Prior to that you could find a customized authentic for $220.... $300+ is pretty outlandish.... Do any other professional sports jerseys cost as much or more than NHL jerseys?

So had anything been said about whether or not they're bringing the heritage jerseys back for this season?

Football jerseys are quite expensive. Hockey is top though I think.

I think they're the "new" 3rd jerseys.

Worlds better than the Lady Liberty ones IMO.

Great, I was hoping they would be...didn't want to get myself one until I knew they weren't a one time thing.
