Brett Hull Signs with the Coyotes

http://www.hadleyonsports.com/getRep...30301&size=595

As the site says, more to come. We'll have to see if all of these signings that the yotes are making pay off.

Now that they aren't affiliated with the Falcons they start to care

Gretzky is a smart man.....giving his youngsters someone to pass to Comrie should be a good linemate for Hull.

Thanks, it does. Though it doesn't really look very credible.. Too bad, would've liked to get the old fart in Dallas. I thought he would wait untill Armstrong returned from his fishing trip, or so that is what his agent (his brother) told the media.

Ah well.. At least he's in the same division..

The Yotes have Doan and Johnson, so he might have to switch to the left side.

Either way, the Yotes' top 6 looks awesome now:

Hull-Comrie-Doan
Nagy-Langkow-Johnson

How is John Hadley not credible?

Arguably the most credible hockey writer in North America, in my opinion.

Doan shoots right, but doesn't he play mostly on the left wing?

Hadley was the first to report Mellanby to the Thrashers. His stuff seems more credible than most folks, even if most of the rumors he reports never come to fruition.

His rumors are more like blanket statements. But when he says someone is signed, its true.

The Coyotes probably don't want to break up the Nagy-Langkow-Johnson line. So Hull will have to move to the left side...

I'm with Stich.. Not only is Hull not as effective on the left, I doubt that he even wants to play there.

Well he might not want to, but that isn't really up to him. I guess it would be possible to move Doan to the LW instead. It all depends...

I read an article saying Johnson would likely make the move to the left.

Nagy-Langkow-Hull
Johnson-Comrie-Doan

They did mention Johnson moving to the LW. The only question I have about that is Johnson has been more effective on a line with Nagy and Langkow. So I don't know if the Coyotes would want to break that up or not.

It has been close to a year since they've played together (because of injuries) so maybe that chemistry is gone now? I don't know.

So who will be Phoenix's starter next year? Boucher or Bierk?

Bierk isn't likely to return.

The two goalies on the Coyotes roster are Boucher and Johnson. My guess is Boucher will be the starter.

Personal preference, I'd rather see Johnson. He looked better than Boucher towards the end of last season, IMO.

Boy, Phoenix has been the busiest team in the offseason so far. Chimera, Hull, Devereux, O'Donnell, and Ricci are all new Coyotes.

Doug Doull as well. I know there hasn't been any link, but he has signed. Two years.

According to Hadley's radio announcement(can somebody in St. louis give me a verification of this) Hull signed for 2 years a 2.5 mil per. That might be a slight bit of overpayment especially since they didn't really need him to begin with(a LW like Ruchinsky or McAmmond would have been a MUCH better signing IMO).
