Whos the best of these RW

Of Healtey, St Louis, Iginla and Hossa how would you rank them in the long term? Its kind of a question for my fantasy keeper team but I think its appropriate here.

1.)Iginla
2.)Hossa
3.)St. Louis
4.)Heatley

2-4 are extremely tight though, the last three are on the same tier IMO.

Iginla, Hossa, Heatley, St. Louis... In a keeper league I'm not sure I'd go for Heatley or St. Louis just because Dany could be facing 20 some years in jail and St. Louis is already 33 (or around there).

I think Hossa and Heatley will be the top two in a few years. They're both quite a bit younger than the other two.

Now:
1. Marian Hossa
2. Jarome Iginla
3. Dany Heatley
4. Martin St.Louis

Long-term:
1. Dany Heatley
2. Jarome Iginla
3. Marian Hossa
4. Martin St.Louis

St.Louis is good but, he lacks the size and physical presence of Hossa and Iginla. I only like him 'cause he's fast on the ice, and that's it. Other than that, he's just another player. Plus, he's old. 29 years old, IMO, is old. He had one great season, and that's about it. How many years did it take for him to break-out, while Hossa and Iginla and Heatley were becoming stars when they were 21 years old?

So 27-year-old Iginla must be getting up there as well, huh?

By this logic Dany Heatley is "just another player" because he's had one great season.

I don't see what a fantasy keeper league has anything to do with how long it takes a player to break-out, at least in this case.

1. Heatley -- i like heatley's long term total pt potentional the best if he doesnt spend anytime in jail.
2. Iginla -- best player of the lot/goal scorer. safest pick.
3. Hossa -- generate's pts in bunchs i prefer consistency for pool.
4. St.Louis -- i'm not a fan. separated at birth twin = charlie manson. :lol

The 5th leading scorer in the NHL can get no love?? Iginla doesn't have the greatest linemates in the world, but neither does Hossa (Varada, Lazy Radek Bonk, Josh Langfeld). If he plays with Spezza and Havlat next year, look out.

He's also younger than Iggy as well.

Now/next season:
1. Marian Hossa
2. Dany Heatley
3. Martin St. Louis
4. Jarome Iginla

Future:
1. Dany Heatley
2. Marian Hossa
3. Jarome Iginla
4. Martin St. Louis

Thats if its for a NHL points based league, I don't know much about sims. I ranked them in order of how many points I think they'll each get.. But next season is just a toss up really, they could end up in any order.

Good god, no love for St-Louis, he's easily better than Hossa right now. St-Louis is one of the best all-around players in the league. He kills penalties and led the league in SHG, won the scoring title, led the league in +/-, won the Pearson, won the Cup, played the point on the PP, and always came up big for his team when they needed him.

1. Iginla
2. St-Louis
3. Hossa
4. Heatley

Where do people get this stuff from? Hossa scores in bunches? Don't you mean Iginla? Hossa was probably the MOST consistent out of those 4 last year.

Hossa is just like Iginla, but a few notches lower. They are very similar, speed, shot, size, strength.
Hossa's grit is underated.

A few notches? I think they're pretty much equal, but Iginla is a better leader. Hossa has been dominant the last two postseasons, but doesn't get the recognition for it. This year, he had little to no help in the playoffs.

And thank you for saying Hossa's grit is underrated. He's not soft like many people seem to think.

I'll put it this way. Hossa is the closest player in the NHL (Besides foppa) to Iginla in terms of overall skill, grit, strength, etc.
Id give hossa the slight edge in skill, but iggy in leadership. they are pretty even in speed, defensive play, shooting, etc.

I understand. I must defend Marian Hossa to the end.
