i dont wanna know what the mausoleum would charge me for parking if i slowly meandered there in my power loader
I LOLed.
Ok, back to your regularly scheduled program, folks.
It sucks that the Generals picked that ****-hole to go to. I went there once last season for my first time, and if I was given free tickets to a Flyers game there I would honestly contemplate going back.

It's close, it's less than going to a Rangers or Flyers game, and tons of Devils fans go out there every year. If it works, we might go elsewhere.
I'll have a kid in tow by then, I can say for sure I can't make any plans that far in advance. If I do go I'll be on my own for tickets and transport, but will definitely be at that tailgate

Last time I went to the Coliseum for a Devils/Islanders game, I recall the Devils losing 4-1, with Wendell Clark scoring twice. That was a miserable day. I was definitely pretty young at the time (if the Wendell Clark name drop wasn't enough to prove how long ago this was), but I was beyond frustrated having to hear their goal horn so many times. Not that I have a problem with it. But I do when it comes at the Devils expense. Really don't recall when that game was, even though I'm sure I could find it pretty quickly if I looked it up. Haven't gone back since. Considering the state of the arena now, and how well the Islanders tend to play against us, I'm hesitant to say the least.

The Devils did take 2 of 3 in that arena last season.

I didn't mean in just the Coliseum. I meant in general the last few years that they always seem to give us problems. I honestly have no clue how the season series ended last year, and I really don't care to look it up in the last few years, but from memory I know they have caused us more problems than they should have given each team's spot in the standings at the time the last few seasons.
Oh, for some reason I thought the board did something like this to the Island previously, I more than likely am mistaken.
There was about 8 of us that went to a game at that refuse-hole last year. I vowed that was the last time I'd suffer through a tilt there, but if enough people from here go, I'd likely be in. Though I'll buy my ticket from Stubhub or EBAY, because I'm cheap like that.

That defeats the whole purpose of this group trip...
Because the whole point is for all of us to go together and sit together.
Oh, well I'm sure everyone will still tailgate beforehand in the parking lot and meet between periods. Besides, EVERY section in that building has a decent number of Devils fans in it. Two home arenas.

They still might have the buy one ticket get one free offer they have had the past few seasons in addition to the StubHub deals.
