Can I get this stickied, the 2010-2011 one is full.
Really hope Wedge makes the actual roster for Canada, it would be huge for him, and I think he would do great. He has shown he can do it in big games, as he stole games in the playoffs. He would be a great pick for Canada even though I think it will Visentin and Bunz.
Maxime Clermont, will he be in Albany in this upcoming season?
Sounds like they are leaving him for his overage year in the Q. Kinda surprised, but they gave Jeff Frazee a two year deal.

We'll see, I think it's easy to forget how raw most of these goalies are. Somebody on the prospects board attended the summer goalie camp and mentioned how Edmonton goalie Devan Dubnyk was also in attendance helping out. The guy also noted that Dubnyk was noticeably on a different level than any of the WJC goalies.
Visentin posted better numbers than Wedgewood in the OHL, but arguably had a better surrounding cast. Should be interesting this year as Plymouth should be improving.
Do we need an affiliation agreement to assign players to the ECHL? I think if Clermont is really ready and Kinkaid impresses Frazee just might find himself traded rather than facing lower competition.
My family and I are making our way up to Buffalo. We leave Wednesday afternoon, and will spend that night in Lake Placid. So I will be lucky enough to see the USA vs. Sweden game at 4pm.
It was from a quote of Clermont on Tom Gulitti's site. Judging from the signing, I'm betting he's in the AHL.
If he doesn't make the AHL, it may be best for him to return to junior as an overager.
I am certain that the Olympiques could easily arrange for him to play for a contending team.

Me too. I'd love to see him on the Sea Dogs, but I think he's an immense improvement on Frazee. Then again, I don't like Frazee's game whatsoever
Jon Merrill made it through the first round of cuts at the US WJC camp but Reid Boucher didn't, although not too surprising. The US has a few incumbent '92s and some more highly touted '93s than Boucher.
Although an interesting cut was Tyler Biggs (22nd overall by Toronto), but another power forward Brian Ferlin (121st by Boston) is still around. Ferlin appears to have been a linemate of our 3rd rounder Blake Coleman.

But Boucher has more skill than Tedenby did, how can you cut that shot
