Regardless of Edmonton's view, the fact that Los Angeles wasn't willing to pay such a price should tell you that his value isn't that high in the trade market and it really isn't. Nobody at this point will trade an impact player for Ales Hemsky. At the trade deadline, it could be a different story if he has a good and healthy year but nobody is going to pay the price to take the risk on him.
That's fine, I have no issue with anything you have said. But the Oilers aren't shopping him, and if a team wants him, they will need to pay Tambellini's price. We have no need to trade him.
You all can think I'm trolling or lying but it's true. We were watching an Oiler game and Hemsky misses this wide open net. And he calls him "Stone hands Hemsky" and starts going off about how he should be a lot better than he is.
