I take back that quote, actually. The more I read it, the more it looks like it was written by an Arsene apologist and spews of Arsene Knows Best excuses.

Our attack was god awful, but he didn't bother switching things up. Brought on Bendtner far to late. We play a 4-3-3, which with the players we have isn't suitable. But "Arsene knows best".

2-0 at the Emirates is no mean feat, and I know it was a very weakened Arsenal side, but I'm delighted that we dominated possesion and limited what is still a very good side to a couple of long shots. We just needed Suarez and his spark to break Arsenal down.

IMO, the Revs need to play in Boston. MLS is a niche sport, with 17 home matches. At this stage, no one wants to have to travel far to see it. I've often wondered about them trying out matches at Alumni Stadium or Harvard Stadium, but two factors come to play, and that's pitch size, the other being Robert Kraft not wanting to lose concession revenue.

While Seattle plays in a football stadium, and will continue to do so, their field is right downtown, as is Portland's.

Seattle fans march to the stadium. Imagine that on Route 1.

By the way, for what it's worth, here are the sack race odds. Wenger is moving up.

Vancouver has copied the march as well.

I like those odds. But he won't be sacked. No one in the board as the spine to stand up to him. In the event he does leave, I'm hoping Louis van Gaal, and Carlo Ancelotti are heavily considered. I would also love to see the likes of Tony Adams and Dennis Bergkamp brought in as coaches.

ESPN3.com comes in handy, especially on weekdays like today when Man. United hosts Spurs on ESPN2, kickoff at 3 p.m. Eastern.

Vermaelen and Scezezny (sp) were the only ones who played well for yous. You play the Mancs next week as well - if Wenger doesn't bring in real quality really quickly (and I mean world class) it could get ugly, especially with all the suspensions and the cluster**** that is the back four.

If I was RVP I'd do a Meireles right to Arsene's face...

It was nice to see that the Prem has their own Andrew Ference!
Maybe we can interest Ference in getting a Mohawk.

Nice to see L'pool with a good team again. Great acquisitions, and looks like they arent done yet.

I still think both Manchester's have the best teams, City looks scary, and Chelsea will improve a lot with Mata and Modric. These 3 will be fighting for title me thinks.

Arsene needs to go shopping asap.

For the love of God, I'd be willing to take Joe Cole, Adam Johnson and Shaun Wright-Phillips if it means Arsenal will actually have some depth at midfield. We're in over our heads in injuries and suspensions.

Chatter that Liverpool is in on Bellamy and his wages are similar to Cole's. If we can offload Cole, get Bellamy minus the crazy, and secure Sebastien Coates, I really like out chances.

Swansea City earned a draw recently

Though if I recall correctly the team hasn't scored in either of its two matches.

I always pull for the underdogs.

Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny stopped a second-half penalty kick and helped save his club's Champions League skin.

Meanwhile, first it was Adebayor and that infamous sprint toward the Arsenal supporters section at Eastlands. Now Samir Nasri, newly signed for City, is taking whacks at the Gooners.

The Champions League draw is live today at 11:30 a.m. Eastern.

Interesting UEFA draw, there's some very interesting groups. Barcelona and AC Milan is especially sweet.

And I swear this is rigged Man U gets off with such an easy group again They might as well just move them on to the next round.

Heh but the rest of the Milan/Barca group will make the games between the two giants meaningless...
Meanwhile, the Shamrock Rovers caused a major upset in the Euro League by eliminating Partizan in extra time.
Hell of a goal to tie the game as well

Haha sorry Besides Benfica there is zero competition whatsoever for them. Ya it would be nice to see Benfica win the home leg and imagine if they could pull a draw at Old Trafford Well I can hope.

And you're right as a City fan this group is actually quite scary. I have faith though lol

I liked Milan for a while but now Pirlo plays for Juve so I've moved on not to Juve though. I've always liked Fiorentina but the thing is I like the city of Siena more than Florence and now Siena is back in Serie A and they are hated rivals.

Anyways I'll be pulling for Barcelona over Milan because Barcelona's style of play is just sublime.

Question: Who is your favorite footballer of all-time?

Mine is Roberto Baggio!

2nd I suppose is Alexi Lalas because I have a signed soccer ball from him.

Least favorite is probably Giorgio Chiellini....he's a butcher.

Where I'm from (Fall River area) Sporting vs Benfica is a rather divisive issue.

Forza Milan Pirlo or no Pirlo

All time same for me it's Roberto Baggio, ya he may have missed that PK in 94 but Italy were there and the only reason they were there it was because of him. Also that goal in Italia90 was unreal

Currently it's American born Guiseppe Rossi, kid has serious talent

least favorite, the Inter team!

Yes, we dont like each other much

As for my favorite, is a tough question i would probably have to make a team with subs

Baggio was something else, as was Cantona, Bergkamp, Suker, Ronaldo, Batistuta...and i could be here all day.

The one guy that gave me the most pleasure to watch live was probably Rui Costa.

Joey Barton is off to QPR on a freebie. From the Northeast to West London. Hmmm.

Definitely up there, saw a game in New York against Chelsea and he was Milan's goal scorer, helped us with the Champions league as well back in 03
