The J looks so dumb. I don't care if it has a meaning. The MB30 is definitely better.
The pads and blocker is nice though.

The MB30 logo was stupid looking. His old style mask shouldn't be coming back because of some perceived bad juju with the other one, or because this is Martys last hurrah, but because it looks way better than MB30.

The Devils have the best jerseys in the league. I'll protest if the Devils ever decided to modernize their classic jerseys.
The MB30 was a very cool design. The creativity in the logo I thought was pretty cool especially since it kept its simple style.
The "J" just looks goofy. I know the story behind it where he wasn't sure how long he was gonna stick with the NHL Devils and never wanted to put the "N" with the "J". I think from a nostalgia point of view, it's cool. But like I said, I just think the "J" by itself looks funny.

Alright fair enough. The "J" design just seems to fit my eye. Sure there is some nostalgia there, but regardless of history, I'd pick the J logo over MB30 every time. The J is part of the team logo. No where on the jersey in there any MB30 except on Marty's jersey. It's kind of anti-Devils philosophy.

The MB30 logo has no aesthetic value. It's busz, it looks like it was rushed. There isn't a whole lot of thought or creativitz behind it. There obviouslz isn't a whole lot of creativitz behind the J either, but it's simple and elegant. It isn't an eze sore. It works.
