I'm rolling with either Arizona or TB. Arizona because the entire infield is full of ex BlueJay players. (Overbay, Hill, McDonald). TB because I simply respect the organization and the way it does business on a budget.
as long as it isn't to an nl least team, it is ok. god, i hate the phillies
as much suffering as we've done, the Phillies fans deserve this great run they've been on. Losingest franchise in sports history, we should get a treat once in a while. Okay, I know what is coming about Philly sports fans, it's mostly overblown BS, it's actually a tremendous sports town that is a lot of fun when the teams are doing well and very difficult when they're not.
And it's not like the Phillies are really the "bad guys" or anything, they've got some really good guys on the team, Utley, Halliday, Lee, Oswalt, Ibanez, Pence, Rollins... maybe you can dislike Victorino sometimes.

I am sure the guys on the Phils are swell fellas, just like I bet guys from the Wings and Jackets are ok. Just my order of preference in the NL east is Atlanta, Washington, florida, Mets, Phils.
doesn't help them they got Lee and my yanks did not.
Because it's better than the thought of pulling the baseball bat out of the collective throats of the Sox and beating the corpse that is the 2011 season with it.

Rooting for the Brewers, but I can't see anyone derailing a Yankees/Phillies series.

True. Kind of seems silly to assume anything else. I think the Phillies have a much smoother trip to the finals than the Yankees do though. You've only got CC and Nova who they can count on. Their offense and defense has to carry them. TB could surprise with a more well-rounded team.

True. Det + TB > StL + Mil, but I don't see the Spankees not making it...and this from a Red Sox fan.
Aging All-Star with a lackluster playoff resume: $32,000,000
Egregiously obese starting pitcher: $24,285,714
Ancient catchers that only serve to block the development of your prospects: $17,100,000
Watching the highest payroll in the Majors sputter out in the first round against a pitcher that went 11-16 in the AL Central: Priceless.

Almost makes up for the fact the Sox went and found a new an inventive way to **** up a season.

You should send that into Mastercard for the Boston viewing area
This is what I thought. The Yanks and Phils should have wanted the Sox and Braves in the playoffs instead since they were slumping, where the Rays and Cards were coming in hot.
