Or before a GM makes their selection, they can ctrl+f the player's name that they are interested in. People will pick players that have already been selected even if we have two separate threads.

Exactly. This isn't your little brother's draft. It's survival of the fittest drafters in the Scorers' Contraction Draft. A few teams might get contracted before it's finished and so be it. The rest will watch their squads jostle to make the cut to be one of the top 16. There are some savvy drafters around here, and some not so savvy. This'll separate the wheat from the chaff.

Read the rules, and check the draft list before picking. This should go without saying.

Fine re-pick. Your Royals didn't lose a beat! I expect him to try and redeem his Finals subperformance this coming season.

Great pick at 11th overall given this is a total points game and he was 2nd in NHL points last season, certainly top-10 this coming season imo. He had 8 more points than Stamkos last season but I think them equal in terms of value in this draft given the younger guy has more upside.

And he was already inputed on the GREEN highlighted draft list!!!

His loss! The clock advances to the next team.

One reason I wanted to have a contraction draft is to NOT worry about bonehead mistakes. Shoot oneself in the foot all one wants. There will be at least 16 quality GMs come end of November.
