As far as I can tell, since the lockout, both ANA-TOR and NYR-PHX have made 9 trades.

Anaheim has made a league-leading 99 trades since 2005.

Going back even further, Jovanovski-Bure trade.

Florida and Nashville have also traded a few times in the last several years, it's heated up recently since Mike Santos came to Florida to be assistant GM under Tallon.

Boston & Florida have a pretty solid track record the past few years:

To Boston: Dennis Seidenberg, Matt Bartkowski, Nathan Horton, and Greg Campbell.

To Florida: Byron Bitz, Craig Weller, 2010 2nd (Alexander Petrovic), Dennis Wideman, Nick Bjugstad, Joe Basaraba, Joonas Donskoi, and a 2011 3rd (Kyle Rau).

Note: Bjustad, Basaraba, and Donskoi were attained through other trades, but involved the picks that were dealt by Boston.

I think a more interesting question would be the most transactions between two teams in one offseason. The Sharks/Wild have made three since the playoffs. Has anyone ever topped that?

SJ-MIN
FLA-anyone who has former Blackhawks
MTL-anyone who has French Canadians

its not that there have been that many but when they make a trade usually alot is traded like the luongo trade was like Roberto Luongo, Lukas Krajicek and a pick that ended up being Sergei Shirokov to the Nucks for Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan Allen and Alex Auld.

Then there was the Ballard-Grabner trade that was Keith Ballard and Victor Oreskovich for Michael Grabner, Steve Bernier and a pick that ended up being Quinten Howden.

Then there were lots of little trade like Zimmerman for Paetsch, Hordichuk for Peters, then there was Oberg and a 3rd pick in 2013 for Chris Higgins.

Not all trades, but the Ducks and Oilers have a thing for each other's players.

Cogliano for 2nd
Foster for Sutton
Oilers sign Green
Ducks sign Jacques
Ducks sign Deslauriers

Off the top of my head:

Minny - SJ
Vancouver - Florida
Philly - Nashville
I've never seen 3 trades (2 of them very blockbuster-esque) carried on between two teams in such rapid succession as I've seen with Minny and SJ. Van-Florida or Philly-NSH don't even come close in that respect.

Peter Forsberg was dealt to Nashville for a bunch of picks/ Prospects, then some of those picks were dealt back for RFA rights to Upshall and Hartnell I believe.

Van-Fla had three quick ones last summer in Ballard-Grabner, Paetsch-Zimmerman, and Peters-Hordichuk. Obviously just a tad below the quality that went between SJ and Minny.

But not a bad history:

It's also funny to see some of the connections. Oleg Kvasha ended up as part of the deal that brought Luongo to Florida before he was traded to Vancouver. Alex Auld went each way. The sixth round pick in the Luongo deal became Shirokov, who would in turn be shipped to Florida.
