Agostino this time. Vitale next time.

I can't stand ChiChi's guilty stares any longer.

You filthy animals. I guess I should be grateful he doesn't end up the #13 prospect, being a sport of superstition and all.

We're at the point where you could realistically slot in anyone but it's still early enough for some people to be violently upset that someone isn't off the board yet. I call this time "August".

The best way is to impeach Brian Strait or Brad Thiessen and put Joe where he rightfully belongs, but that's just me. There is the possibility of bias in my background.

Gotta admit, Agostino's reported play at the Team USA camp made me think twice even though I've been voting PT for the last couple polls.

MLB and CFL are the only other sports options. Dark times.

August is hell. Seriously. The Pirates just turned into a pumpkin, and I no longer like the Steelers enough to follow training camp. I'm actually following the BC Lions because their quarterback went to college in the town where I grew up.

Agreed

I keep thinking about numerous people talking about Thompson being a beast around the net, and that has me excited. I also don't think he'll be in the AHL long, if he can produce early on.

Been voting Agostino, so I'm staying the course, but Thompson and Vitale are good choices too. Add Alex Grant.

Crossing fingers he's on a Bobby Butler trajectory.

This is about the point where I have no idea how to follow any of the people left who aren't in WBS.

And if that were to happen, after Shero finding both Letestu and Lovejoy already...would that finally get him a pass for not having a large Euro scouting presence?

I'm torn on who to vote for. There's a bunch of players that are interchangeable right now, depending on what criteria you use (ie. closeness to NHL, potential, etc.).

On a side note, is Sneep considered a bust? He was a high draft pick, but he's not even getting much attention even this late into the prospect polls.

I find it odd based on these rankings that Harrington's going to place out a lot higher than Samuelsson? Is it the "shiny new toy syndrome"?

I can't really talk though, I voted Agostino.

Harrington has a bigger upside, and Samuelsson's development has gone a little weird, what with him quitting BC to go play in Europe.

Did I miss something? When did Philip Samuelsson sign with a team in Europe? Everything I've seen indicates that he'll be in North America playing in either the AHL or ECHL this coming season.

I'm on the same boat. You can't really go wrong with a lot of the players available right now. I'm more curious to see who's going to be left off the list now, it's looking like some good players aren't going to make it.

As for Sneep, I don't think it's safe to consider him a bust just yet. He didn't have a bad for first pro-season but it wasn't a great one either. It seemed like he playing time was pretty limited as well. But it's looking like if he doesn't make any good strides this year in the AHL that may be as far as he'll go in his career, we'll see.

Hanowski has taken a hit... I really hope he finds a groove this season and shoots up this poll next year.

Hanowski hasn't put up anywhere near the points that I thought he would in college. He's finally an upper classman though, and this is the year where the biggest jump in development tends to occur. I wouldn't be too down on him yet until we see how he fairs this year.
