I was just looking at old prospect threads about Sid and one was a game with predictions about him. One of them was how many points he'd score as a rookie.
I saw a lot of 60, 55, 50. The highest I saw was 88.
Just think, he put up 100 points as an 18 year old. 99% of players fail to reach 100 points in there prime. We're so lucky to watch Sid play here. For his sake, the games sake, and our sake I hope he makes a full recovery from him concussion.
It is obviously Sid in this, unless proven otherwise. Malkin . . .maybe . . .has more pure talent. No one has the work ethic of Sid though. How either responds to their serious injuries is of course a factor, but no one here knows a thing about that, so with that being a non-factor at this point you have to go with Sid.
The kid was 1 1/2 healthy seasons away from tying Jagr's production as a Pen in as many seasons. That's how dominant he has been for us. No better player in the league.

Like to wish the best hockey player in the world, my old linemate Sidney Crosby, a Happy Birthday today.

For all you Crosby haters. You would give your left nut/breast to have him play for your team. Him and Ovi brought the game back.
Love the Biz post. Man if only we could get him back. I admittedly watch almost zero 'yotes games, I wonder if he's good enough to be a 6th/7th d-man on this team. Is Engo better or worse than Biz?
Oh and happy birthday to Sid. Hope the recovery is going well. And for my two cents, don't bother worrying over tweets by random people saying Sid's not getting better. First of all, even doctors don't fully understand concussions and recovery rates, and second of all, most of these fellas want people to become followers of their Twitter account and want to be able to say, "See, I was right, I have sources, you should follow me!" If they're wrong, well, who remembers what was tweeted when we're all busy watching Mr. Crosby tearing up the league. If @PittsburghPenguins (don't follow Twitter so don't know if that's the Pens Twitter acount) tweets, then I worry.

Biz plays as a forward now. He was D back in his AHL days.

He is a forward now and I don't think he's coming back to the Pens as long as Ray is the GM.
