Brownlee said you should probably expect an announcement in the next week or so about Oilers Lunch moving to Ched plus also that they re-newed the Oilers radio rights on a new contract.

So yeah agreed with above. I am assuming the announcement is that. Otherwise if it was anything bigger or different it would be a press conference I would think.

Is this an Oilers' announcement or a CHED announcement? Because I don't know why the Oilers would bother making an announcement regarding CHED's programming schedule.

Another thing I noticed on Tencer's twitter is a later post with hashmarks #sworntosecrecy, basically saying he cannot sat anything on twitter, wait for the big announcement tomorrow.

Sure is making it sound like some big ass deal...doubt it's anything more than social manipulation..maybe I'm wrong though, who knows.

He's a little snake. It's probably nothing more than the announcement of Oilers Lunch and possibly an extension for the rights to Oilers games. He's trying to make this sound bigger than it actually is. I hope I am wrong, though. It would be nice to hear something regarding the arena, but it would make more sense to hold a presser at Churchill with all media notified.
