Not going to happen but it would be one of the biggest upsets in UFC history if somehow Okami won this fight.

It wouldn't surprise me that much. It's more likely that Silva will KO him in the 1st round but it's no secret that Silva struggles with good wrestlers. If it was a 3 round fight instead of 5, I'd like Okami's chances better as going 5 rounds without getting KO'd or subbed will be tough.

I don't know why but I have a feeling that Okami is going to pull off the upset. I'm not confident enough to change my pick though.

I really think Silva will want to make a statement in Rio, which is my prediction is Silva 2nd round TKO. Spinning heel hook to the jaw lands and a barrage of knees and punches ends it.

I could see Okami grind and wear down for a bit like Sonnen though, so maybe that drags it out a couple more rounds.

This is my feeling as well.

I still think Anderson will will though.

I think a lot of us are under-estimating how much improvement Okami has made in the last 1-2 years.

However, as Mark stated, Silva will be jacked up fighting in front of his fans' and that could spell a quick end for Okami. At the same time, Anderson could end up firmly planted on his back if he gets reckless and starts throwing Matrix like kicks.

I believe Okami has the size and boxing to give him fits, the deal breaker is going to be how much his already solid wrestling has improved during his time with Chael. If he has worked as hard on his wrestling as he did on his boxing, this could be a really interesting fight. The Sonnen factor is huge, he knows the game plan to beat Silva and if you are trying to improve your wrestling there isn't a better teacher.

I won't be surprised one bit if Okami takes him out, nor will I be surprised if Silva finishes him in the 1st or 2nd round. I'm may be in the minority but I'm really looking forward to this fight.

My thoughts on this fight are the exact same as yours. It's definitely not the squash match that a lot of fans act like it is but it could end appearing that way if Silva gets the early KO/TKO.

I'm tempted to put money on Okami simply because of how much of an underdog he is.

I guess I just feel like Okami is not an upper-echelon guy. He is slightly better than Nate Marquardt and a bit worse than Sonnen, and all bring somewhat similar skillsets to the table. Sonnen fought almost a perfect fight with the perfect style against an injured Silva and still lost. How can Okami do better than that? I just don't think its possible. I've never gotten the Okami love, and with his lack of finishing ability against top competition he's a disaster against the best finisher in the sport.

Of course he has ways to win, the same way every respectable underdog does. This isn't GSP/Serra we're talking about here, but there's a reason the odds are where they are.

I will say this though.. The last time the main event and co-main event BOTH were big upsets was Chuck vs Jardine. The co-main? Shogun vs Griffin.

Big Nog looks to be in the best shape of his life for his fight.

So did Chuck Liddell.

I truly hope Nog has more in the tank.

I think Chuck truly was in the best shape of his life, but his chin was completely done.

Just like Chuck, Nog's next couple years won't come down to his shape or gas in the tank, it'll come down to if his chin. Can't train that.

If Okami wins this fight, it's because Anderson is in decline simple as that. Yushin is not some world beater at 185, he's a jack of all trades. Good, but not really that great.

That sounds familiar ...

Everyone is underestimating Okami. But Anderson is just to good to bet against.

Sonnen is one of, if not the best wrestler at 185 and everyone knew that going into the Silva fight. Okami is not a world class wrestler
