I monitored your log-ins/last activity dates. Had I seen that you weren't on at all this weekend then I would have been understanding of this, but that was not the case.

I wish you the best in your future endeavours.

I wasn't online, but if my roommate was using my computer which has hfboards as the homepage, and myself logged in all the time, then it would certainly show me as logged in.

Like I said, such is life...looked like it was going to be a great league, disappointed that I won't be able to be apart of it now.

Cheers

Congratulations to Bgav for being voted in as League Union Rep.

I will say, it was a very very close vote between all 3 candidates and really could have gone either way.

And for any passer-by's who may be interested in joining the league: I'm always accepting requests for placement on the manager reserve list. Typically with start-up keeper leagues there is a transition period with managers going in and out of the league. I also will be re-ordering the reserve list periodically based on poster activity.

It should be really good. It'll be interesting to see who goes for the win-now strategy and who goes for a more long-term approach.

I'm curious to see where Sidney Crosby will be drafted.

The first 5 shouldn't be much of a surprise. It's after round 3 where a draft like this turns into a mystery.

I'm on a 17 year plan, I'll be drafting Harry Sedin with my first pick.

Really i think the big question should be where does Luongo go....i can take a guess as to who is not going to be drafting him but who does and when will be intresting

as well it may be stupid (haven't used yahoo in a while) but i think we should define the type of league this is in the cba....ex: H2H or total points etc. just to make it clear in the CBA.

Goalies are incredibly hard to find in keepers, Especially the top of the bunch (lund, luongo) for fantasy.

Thats why I am debating if I should take them. Then again, stamkos has insane value, so i dono.

xtra was right, this should be addressed in the CBA and I'll be adding it to Article 1 shortly.

It'll be h2h with standard public league scoring (G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, W, SO, GAA, SVP). The positions are standard yahoo public league too (C, C, LW, LW, RW, RW, D, D, D, D, G, G) with an expanded bench to accommodate a 20-man roster. In addition to an off-site minor league roster.
