I just laugh when Francesca and ESPN goons go into these Jacoby Ellsbury orgasms and throw the term "MVP" around.

One of the problems with moving Gardener to CF, is if he's giving you a gold glover performance in LF, you're going to be reluctant to move him anywhere.

Randall Delgado throwing a nono through 6.

Been following him for a couple years now, awesome to see he's living up to his prospect status

Offensively, yes, though Ellsbury's .877 OPS is also great. Defensively, it's not even close. Together? Debatable. It's pretty close...

Gardner's range plays in any field. He'll still be a Gold Glove-caliber defender in center. And a GG in center > GG in left.

Perhaps, but to hear people, especially NY radio guys, all over Ellsbury as if our CF is chopped whale blubber is disturbing.

Absolutely. I'd vote for Granderson ahead of Ellsbury in the MVP race.

I don't think i've gone a single day since following baseball without having to hear from a Yankee or Bosox fan how great their team is / how great a certain player is.

Looks like it's gonna be Gonzalez anyway though. Can't say I disagree.

Yeah but if I took you guys seriously i'd believe the Yankees and Red Sox could dominate every other sport, too, while probably running a few third world nations in their spare time.

Lousy start for Nova tonight. He's spoiled us with this recent streak though so I can't kill him.

I'm not disputing that, but you know how superstitious teams are. If things are going great they're reluctant to change it.

Now we should stretch Nova and try to steal him a win like we do with AJ. He's treated us to quite a few wins this year, so now it's our treat

Well, keep in mind part of it is nobody wants to take blame either. If gardener is giving you a gold glove performance in LF and you move him to CF and he makes a few errors, it's on your ass for moving him now.

And it's not like we have a bad situation in CF that needs to be fixed, so nobody's going to be willing to make the change.

I remember when granderson was injured, gardener was moved to CF though.

Robinson Cano has such a sexy swing. Yankees lead the BoSox by 0.5 games, whoever wins the division wins the pennant IMO.

Hits #35 and reached based 5 times today. He gets no respect. It's all about Gonzalez, Granderson, Jeter, Ellsbury, etc.

People only notice you when your team is in or near first. It's an age old injustice.
