I went with the Piles. Personally now that they have Nabakov, and even if he is a shell of his former self he will be better then Montoya. They have a very solid young team up front, personally I think they will make the playoffs and voted for them in the 7th/8th spots but...

no telling if Nabokov actually stays. they might move him to a team that needs a goalie for a player. either way, their kids will have 1 more year of knowledge and experience under their belts. they will for sure be better than Toronto this year.

Just a tad bit more offensive potential on the Isles.

I'm going with the team that actually tries to win verses the won who tries to spend the least amount.

The Leafs actually have a respectable defensive core, albeit obscenely overpaid. The Islander defense if laughable outside a few of them. Leafs have better forward depth and experience and goaltending is about the same.

their top 4 should actually be pretty decent this year. with Streit coming back, Andrew MacDonald having another stellar season and Hamonic having a strong year as a rookie...with the potential addition of Calvin de Haan this season, they've got something really nice brewing.

Gotta go with the Islanders on this one, now that their kids have another year of experience
