The Bolts have now scored 2 goals from below the goal line in the right corner on Vokoun in 9 minutes. One in off Green and one in off Vokoun. Bizarre.

Roloson was poor on the Caps goal too. Not a good night for goalies in this game so far.

Is there a worse defensive pairing in the league than MAB and Bruno Gervais?

They speak good French though.

You should have seen the Hughson-Garrett combo, it was absolutely brutal. Stockhouse is actually better in that department than Hughson.

Are you watching the game? I'm not sure which goals he was on for but I wouldn't be looking to put any blame on him. The goals:

1. A pass from the corner hits Green's skate and goes top corner.
2. A shot from the corner hits the back of Vokouns leg and goes in.
3. Washington's forwards forget or simply don't bother to pick up Moore who is alone in the slot.

Two bits of bad luck and some awful play by the forwards. If that awful play by the forwards helps burn him out then maybe, but the stats don't tell the story of his game IMO. See how much ice time he gets by the end of the game. But it may not have a huge impact. We'll have to wait and see.

On another note, Caps getting away with stuff in this period. And as I type that, they get called.

WASH 3-3 TB so far and none of the top guys on either side (Lecav, StLouis, Stamkos, Ovechkin, Backstrom and Semin) got a single point.

Hey Gervais got 1 goal and 1 assist tonight . He's always seemed like a likeable guy, so good for him.

Oh and all hail Guy Boucher.

Nate Thompson deflects the puck. Tampa - Washington tied at 4-4.

I actually wish Gervais the best, he seems like a good guy.

But both of these teams are basically putting on a clinic on how to not defend.

Guess we can cross Vokoun off the "better than Carey" list.

How do you defend against an awful goalie performance...While the -3 was totally relevant as far as Oduya was concerned...only the goalie here should receives minuses...

not really, hughson was decent while stockhouse is the most annoying homer you can find, i can't stand him at all.

Chimera ties it up with 2 mins to go, 5-5 going into OT.

Chimera sure would look good in our bottom 9!!

Geez, teams wearing Red and White have some terrible problems with their too-many-men penalties do they...
