A fan was struck by lightning during the Marshall/WVU delay.
All could've been prevented.
I wish him the best, no doubt. But c'mon.
WVU has issued a statement saying that that is absolutely false. ESPN, once again, jumped the gun.

Put on espn, whoever designed Marylands jerseys should get shot in the throat.
I like them. The helmets and shoulders feature elements of the state flag. It's definitely different, but they've grown on me since they were unveiled a few weeks ago. If you hate them though, get ready, as the team has gone the Oregon route and have like 16 different combinations lined up. The red jerseys and the yellow jerseys are particularly, um, bold.
Anthony Chickillo, #71 on the Hurricanes D-line, came from my high school. Graduated the year after I did and in the same class as my sister. Dude was freaking huge.
They're ugly, but they look pretty cool...but ugly at the same time.
Yeah, I can probably agree with that. If you have lived in Maryland for the past 15 or so years like I have, and fallen in love with it, then you'll appreciate the state-inspired unis.

That's why they're cool. They represent the state and it's cool to incorporate the state flag into their uniforms. Unique idea.
Yeah, knew it was the state flag. But they just look so gross to me.
Yeah, I did a quick scan of my Facebook, and the hot topic amongst the locals is the new unis. It's split about 50/50. The people that like them are like me, liking the homage to the state, whereas the people that hate them, HATE them.
