Yes, im still on NHL09 because EA stopped making NHL games for the PC after over a decade of production and i refuse to buy a console because NHL is the only video game i ever play.
In by fifth Be A GM season for one of my many Be A GM attempts.
I'm currently trying to get Larsson to resign his contract, but he wants more than he is actually worth by means of his statistics.
I had to let Jeff Cater, Brooks Orpik and Dustin Brown go, after a really awesome season. I signed Wheeler and D. Boyle in hopes of strengthening my line up. I might trade Bobby Ryan to make some space to sign Larsson. If that doesn't work, I'm trading off Larsson for someone else.
Stepan dominates the league every year. He just had a 93 goal, 73 assist, 166 point season. Lundqvist dominates as well and is getting like $7.7M from me with his new contract.
I'm thinking about trading Crosby, Ryan or Filatov, but Filatov is really young and good, Crosby has awesome chemistry with Stepan, and Ryan is one of the few good right wings that I have.
Either way, still need to put together a line up. I've been screwed over with so many monster contracts.
Hope they fix the AI for EASHL games sick of CPU dudes stopping right in front of me haha or when you have someone lined up at the blue line for a huge hit and your ******* D man steps in front of you.
NHL 12 looks promising if the goalie interference crap is toned down online.
Side note: I'm pretty sure Ranger de Fla and I made children cry this morning lol.

I've gone offsides because of this crap so many damn times.

It's terrible never used to happen to me but the last dozen or so games it has been occurring on a regular basis.
They always try enter the zone exactly where I want to go lol it's really bad when you get that cluster of like 6 players on the blue line. Have to pull a Nylander and go the other way.
Drop in games are a lot like pee wee hockey where all the players just follow the puck everywhere it goes.
They have fixed the trade logic. No more 1st + 2nd next year for #1 overall that trade never failed.
Also they adjusted the values more and the CPU won't reject ridiculous offers regardless of it's "needs" anymore.
Also fixed young players wanting 8m after the first three years.
Dude, I used to do next years 1st and next years 7th for the #1 overall that way you get 2 first rounders in your first season and just repeat the same trade every year for #1 overall, it never failed
Finally got through the 2010-2011 season, won the cup (obviously)...headed into the offseason with the 9th overall pick and Nugent-Hopkins fell
He fell to me at #19 once The draft in the game isn't very realistic, Larsson always goes first then they have a bunch of fictional players with RNH, Couturier, Puempel getting taken somewhere in the top 15, Landeskog and Huberdeau never even get drafted

Landeskog stays at like 70 overall, pretty bad if you ask me

Yeah they updated some of the prospects throughout the year but not all, you could pick up Namestnikov, Khoklochev, Landeskog, Strome, Saad, etc... In the later rounds and they never improved.
