I loved that game! "Leetch to Messier to Graves and he scores!"

If I didn't spill shampoo into it (don't ask) I might still be playing it.

You see, when you say "don't ask", automatically, I have to ask.

How and why?

I do. I take notes on a hockey white board where the shot came from and if it was a goal or not. I did it for the Sharks board last playoffs, but they didnt seem to care for it much, so I stopped. I may do it this year for games. It basically shows where the hot spots for our players are (as a whole, not individual - though I suppose I could just follow one player)

In some ways, I think this is a blessing. Sure he was/is a great guitarist, but his refusal to play any RHCP song that he wasn't a part of pissed me off no end. It would be nice to go to a RHCP gig and hear songs from all the albums in their back catalog, not just the Frusciante ones.

Who else is annoyed that Portnoy left Dream Theater, btw?

And if anyone is a fan of the Cult, Asbury and Duffy are recording a new full length album and will follow up with a world tour.
Love The Cult! Sonic Temple is one of my all time favorite albums.
Hopefully they will tour Europe aswell, only saw them live once and that was one of the best shows I've ever been to.

True, but I think their music WITH Frusciante is significantly better than their music without John.

Im... really mad that portnoy left dream Theater. I hate A7X.
Im still all metal, I hate emo rap country etc. Not enough talent for me in them.
George Lynch - one of the most talented guitarists. Underrated. Lynch mob's awesome
Opinion on bands like Machine Head, Kingdom of Sorrow, and Opeth?

All those bands you mentioned there I also listen to. Especially A7X and Linkin Park.

Also anyone listen to any Death Metal?

Yeah. Still dislike A7X though.
Amon Amarth (They're cheesy but good.) Opeth... etc. I would not classify bands like Suicide Silence and All Shall Perish as death metal.

Autopsy
Obituary
Dying Fetus
Flesh Consumed
Cannibal Corpse (some)
Morbid Angel
Death

Delightful names aren't they?

Then there's deathcore, and an assortment of bands from there as well, but that's a little different from pure death metal.

And my first is System of a Down. Don't be fooled by my name. I mean I like Machine Head, but they're not in my top 5 of anything. Notice the spelling is different. I actually chose my name after the Bush song "Machinehead" which is spelled the same. Although I have been known to wear a Machine Head shirt because it has my name on it. Close enough

Just got done wih trying the vhl. It pretty much sucked. Couldn't get the teammates to play outside our schedules gamed and then people of course didn't know how topolay with each other. Too many ******* giving orders when they sucked too.

Much like with COD MW this series created a pretty good, addicting game formula and game experience. 8.2 out of 10

AI is unforgiveably dumb. This is so that when inexperienced gamers play predictably with quite a few AI on EASHL they don't get discouraged by it being impossible to score or even hold the puck. They do not kno how to balance the A.I. based on player skill so this is the solution they took. Same rookie A.I for all players regardless of skill. Still experienced gamers should have no problems finding other good players and play 4's 5's 6's. Even 3 forwards isn't terrible.

The CPU goalie let's in some horrific goals and the glitch goals that haunt the series are a joke exacerbated by the lack of fixing. The fact that they never fixed the NHL 10 gitch from the top of the circle is pathetic.

Playing OTP espeically with a human goalie is...well I would rather take my chances of winning when I play Russian Roulette with a loaded gun when I'm the first to spin. I just don't stay in games where guys pick goalie in OTP. A guy let's in 7 goals on 7 shots in the first 8 minues and there is n way to boot him? What's worse you leave the game and it hinders your overall.

Generaly speaking though I find that committing to good D and especially playing an almost trap style prevents all glitches and keeps the game fair. Guys don't have the room to glitch if you meet them at the blueline and stay on them with solid, good positioning. If you are not good enough to do this than you will bein the pro or amateur EASHL division. It fixes some balance issues with glitchers and I noticed it a lot less in 11 than 10.

So my biggest complaint by far ius the horrifically bad joke A.I. It could be 4 back on D and only 1 forward rushing in with the puck and the A.I. willnever ever make the hit or even get inthe puck movers face. The A.I. never pushes guys awa when infront of th net...tho they said to have worked this into 11 more. The penalty calls are annoying on occassion too. Constant spinning and sharp turns at full speed are unrealistic too especially whie holding the puck so perfectly.

Offensively the A.I. is near useless. But usually 2 forwards with skill can play well enough to overcome tis and most people play 3forwards anyway

Oh and I noticed a few clubs that issue challenges to vastly inferior clubs to stack wins. They should not be able to do this. Or the winsshould count for nearly nothing...perhaps show standings wise how many wn come against teams from each division and award points accordingly.

Hard to say.

Iced Earth has gone through three vocalists, each one is unique. Including Tim Owens, who replaced Rob Halford of Judas Priest when he left JP for a little bit.

My favorite vocalist for Iced Earth is Matthew Barlow. The guy with the super long red hair.

My personal favorite album is Dark Saga. Which is about Todd McFarlane's Spawn. Its outstanding.

My second fav album of theirs is Something Wicked This Way Comes. A concept album.

The band is heavy into comics and history.

Third fav album is Horror Show.

All their albums are great.

Blind Guardian my fav album is Nightfall in Middle-Earth. Which you would probably guess is about J.R.R. Tolkien's world.

Deamons & Wizards is a side project for the vocalist of Blind Guardian and founder/guitarist of Iced Earth: Jon Schaffer.

They're great live, too.

Iced Earth has a great live album, three disks long, called Alive in Athens. In Athens Greece.

I like country.

Machine Head is great, as is Opeth. Opeth has some incredible talent. Like Dream Theater they have an incredible talent to switch tempos on a dime.

Don't know Kingdom of Sorrow.

You would probably like a band named Novembre. They're very talented. Not very popular last I checked.

Also recommend: Grip Inc., Carcass, and At the Gates.

Sample songs for each:

Novembre: The Music
Grip Inc.: Rusty Nail
Carcass: Generation Hexed
At the Gates: Slaughter of the Soul
