Rangers announce that Wolski has been sent to hartford for conditioning. He played one preseason game and got hurt so I sent him down.

Can't see it being any of them. I believe Lundqvist has already been on a Swedish cover, as well. Don't think they would put a non-Canadian/American.

'98 had Forsberg, '95 I think had Kovalev scoring a goal on Beezer. Heatley was also on a cover the year of his accident, and if I remember correctly he was replaced.

EDIT:I always forget that Heater is technically a Canadian. I looked it up though, and Tommy Sandstrom was on the cover of '94, and Ovechkin on the cover in '07.

It's not gonna be bawse until they get off their collective lazy ***** and give us authentic arenas and goal horns. It's like the 20th freaking year of this series and it's pathetic that we are still waiting for such basic features. Stop wasting time on gimmicks and stupid crap and give us what we should have had years ago. It's long overdue.

YES! They got the Winter Classic!? That will be sick. Hopefully they make the computer better at getting into a 2 on 1. Whenever I play vs my brother and I have a 2 on 1 (let's say I'm with the puck on the left, and my opponent is supposed to be on the middle, and the computer who is on my team is supposed to be on the right) for some reason the computer gets on my left side.

I really like what I'm reading here;

Quote:
In Be a Pro Revamped, you will have to earn your ice time. You will start off with limited ice time, working your way up the bench until you earn your coaches trust to be put in game changing situations.

Start by completing simple tasks such as blocking a shot, or winning a faceoff and your coach will start relying on you more. You will also be able to simulate to your next shift, which makes the experience more seamless and engaging.
A little more info from this article also helps the hype;

Yeah, the computer has always been awful working a 2-on-1. It's been a problem for years. Hopefully they address it this time.

The one way around it is to create a custom play, but you shouldn't have to do that.

I think that in 11 EA was so dead-set on removing the 2-1 cross crease that they made it so the computer always played it perfectly.

I think they need to find a healthy balance where it doesn't work every time but at the same time it doesn't get stopped every time.

It shouldn't be at the point where the computer is always stopping it.

I don't like trading draft picks. Good deal. Frolov was an ufa on my franchise.

If I buy another one of these games only to start be a pro, lead the team in scoring and then get sent down to the AHL I am going to be sorely disappointed. The system that determines when you get sent down or brought up was a disaster in NHL 11 - it literally made it impossible to play. It doesn't have to be perfect by any means but it should at least create the illusion of knowing what its doing. Also, I'd love the ability to request a trade and actually have some input regarding contract negotiations. Be a pro was far and away the most disappointing part of NHL 11 IMO. Be a GM is pretty money though, I must admit.
