That would be too easy.

FWIW, a top 6 forward (likely to preferably be a C) is generally identified as the big need on the Jets.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize Jets need elite talent. Specifically on center, to go with their wingers that are close. Does anyone here really think the Jets need more depth? People offering depth players and late draft picks, seriously, need to stop.... Bogosian is not a bust, these offers are nothing short of comic relief. If he publicly asks for a trade, we can revisit these **** offers, until then....

So who would the Jets want for Bogosian? Would Gomez be considered a fair trade? I'm not a Montreal fan, but I think Gomez could be gotten as part of cap relief?

I hope you're not serious. The Jets board has had a small discussion on the possibility of dealing a guy like Oduya for Gomez. Even for a guy like Oduya the board is pretty split.

Bogosian for Gomez? Not even close.

Bingo. Jet's need a top end talent, because the support players are already there.

It also would be nice if the player traded for Bogo was under 25 years old.

Nice try, but Oilers fans will counter with Gagner and players like Petry, Plante or Chorney or a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Jets will just keep Bogosian

Sheeesh whats with you Leafs fans......you're not going to get a guy the stature of a Bogosian for cast-offs and junk you'd at least have to add Robert Slaney and take the condition off the 7th and possibly add a conditional 5th in 2015

that about right

IMO, Detroit should go after him with something like Filppula + Kindl + 1st.

I saw a similar Detroit offer which was

Tatar + Kindl + 1st

Which I think is pretty fair value
