I will be running a HF Hawks FREE league. I dont want to not include people because of money

We could always open it up to the main boards if we need a few more too. I think the key is making sure everyone deposits their money before the season starts and with enough time to find replacements for the open spots if for whatever reason people have not paid.

Like Disgruntled alluded to, I'd be among the dead weight teams in a free league. Whenever I've gotten in them in the past I've given up within a month or 2 into the season, no matter what sport it was in. Just hard to keep focus when their isn't any incentive in the end.

I am fine either way. Only thing we need to make sure is there are no passive owners.

With less posters... we've gained quite a few more regulars since then. Add them with our loyal readers but not posters I think we can easily get 20 for the free league.

Too many possibilities being floated around. I would be up for most of them.

With that said, Tyler can you please set up one yahoo league(when it opens) exactly like last year? That way we are guaranteed atleast one hfboards fantasy league.

If we did need people, I think it would be cool to open it up to a couple Red Wings fans from these boards. Lord knows it would make things interesting and could be fun from a rivalry standpoint as fans and fantasy owners.

I would be in for the free league....money is not the problem....if I start playing fantasy hockey for money, that would be the problem...
