Not only that, but Weber is a bit undersized at 5'11 and under 200 pounds. Not that he can't succeed, but teams are going to be a little more skeptical of a dman Weber's size until he proves that he can handle the NHL (and no, playing limited minutes for 40 games and not scoring isn't proving you are an NHL player.)

Streit is not weak defensively

Weber may be quite the prospect, but you cannot say streit is weak just to prop weber up it simply has no basis in fact

Statistically since Streit has been an islander he has been better than any Canadien defender including Weber

just check the stats
