Samsonov was a pretty good hockey player once upon a time. It'd be nice to see him succeed again, just not sure if he has it in him.

Now, things could change quickly, but as of right now, this is the most realistic. I don't expect to see Schremp on the team next year, and if he is, he will be an extra.

Your example did not take into account the new contracts for Ladd, Wheeler, or Bogosian. Here is my attempt:

CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter)
(these totals are compiled without the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $59,400,000; CAP PAYROLL: $51,662,499; BONUSES: $2,800,000
CAP SPACE (22-man roster): $7,737,501
I took a guess on the following contracts:
Ladd, Wheeler, Jokinen, Bogosian, Stewart
Assumptions:
Winnipeg is going to be a mid cap team somewhere between 50 and 55 million.
Klingberg and Cormier could benefit from a full year in the AHL.
Machacek, Maxwell, and Stewart earn a spot on the team. (If not it will be filled by UFA's like LaRose, Kopecky, Dupuis, Miettinin, Leino). If this happens, I could see the team trying to deal a guy like Oduya in order to clear up some space to sign a UFA forward. Not because Oduya is that bad, just because there are D in the minors who need a shot, and they would be a lot cheaper.
I put Enstrom with Bogosian because I would really like to see Bogo paired with Enstrom. I know that Enstrom and Buff played together, but I think it would be better for Bogo and the organization in general to get his confidence up. Whomever plays with Buff needs to be a defensive D man to cover for him and Hainsey can do that (or Stuart).
Now, things could change quickly, but as of right now, this is the most realistic. I don't expect to see Schremp on the team next year, and if he is, he will be an extra.
I just took capgeek lines as they were so that would probably explain the lines being a bit out of kilt.
Skimming the numbers, one that stood out was Ron Hainsey and his $4.5M/year contract with 2 seasons left.
Seems like a pretty bloated contract, I've always seen him as a decent top 4 dman, nothing more.
I'm not the biggest fan of his contract either. IMO he's hardly a concern for the team from a CAP standpoint. I know he is solid and brings intangibles that don't show up on the stats sheet. He's also developed into more of a shutdown role. I hope he manages to bring his offensive numbers back up into the 30 point range, while playing solid hard nosed defense.
Winnipeg is in a good CAP situation as it currently stands
The only reason in my opinion that Hainsey's contract is palatable is because of the budget room this team currently has. I feel confident Hainsey can be a quality asset for this team, but as it stands today he isn't worth near the 4.5 million he's set to earn the next 2 years. That is brutal overpayment UNLESS Ron Hainsey once again begins collecting 35-40 points, logs 20 minutes a night in a top 4 role and continues with his steady defensive play, if he can do that, and I think he stands a chance, then it won't be so bad. Defenseman who can do as such generally get paid quite easily. He simply needs to step up and prove he is worthy of his contract.
It's quite a bit more than the original estimates of 62.4mil. It's almost a 4.5mil increase from the current salary CAP of 59.4mil.
In 1995-96, the Winnipeg Jets had a payroll of 20.9 million US. In 2011-12, the Winnipeg NHL Team will have a payroll of 48-64 million US. How times have changed.

It's the fans that really lose out, we're the ones funding these overpaid athletes and owners.

Also, when the NHL returned from the lockout, the salary cap maximum limit was 39 million, with the floor sitting at 23 million, I believe.
Now nearing the beginning of the 6th season since returning from the lockout, the salary cap has jumped 25 million, both obviously from the minimum (floor) and maximum (ceiling).
