lacked a little bit of depth imo. Would have liked to see the writer give more of his opinion and reasoning for it, otherwise it came across as a press release that I knew about 3 days ago.
That's fair. My opinion was that of both decisions being good. I don't think one is better than the other at this point. Either he plays in Hamilton which is good for his development, or he plays in the Memorial Cup and works on his offensive game.
Thanks for the critique though. You have probably been one of the only readers so far that isn't afraid to be honest and offer advice. Much appreciated.
I've tried to be balanced and make sure I post positive when there is something I like, overall the site has impressed me. I learnt that everything doesn't necessarily have to be unique.
I agree that I don't think either choice will be bad, AHL is normal, I just think Mmorial Cup is unique of an experience to make it going back for, help him develop some of those often championed intangibles. People joke about Josh Gorges being captain but imo that demonstrated the heart and determination he had all along as a player.
Just think it could have used a tad bit more opinion. Keep up the good work all of you.
Where do I want him to play? Definitely Hamilton. Where do I think he will play... for some reason in the Q.
I think they're going to take a slower path for this guy for some reason. Call me crazy but maybe the habs are changing their ways. I still see no reason why he shouldn't make Hamilton even though I'm in the camp who sees him as a future 3rd line winger and not top 6 player. Time will tell hopefully I'm wrong.
