i think the skins will get 9 wins... not because they are a 9 win team, but I am in the suck for luck group and my black cloud will make the skins get another meh draft position.

Kind of how I feel, but I think it'll be 6 wins best case (my season prediction is 4), just enough for another middling 1st rounder...

Dont worry

Rex will lead you to Luck

If Shanahan lets Rex loose that is good for 30+ INT's

Who has anointed Rexasexus our starting QB? We signed him for 800K

Beck hasn't ever had a chance with our starters. I think he will get every chance to beat out Rex. That groin set him back for sure. But 3 TD passes in the first half tomorrow night will turn some heads.

Vick and Eagles starters look terrible against the Steelers' D... Hmm...

The Eagles LB is a clear weakness.

I am very interested so you are not alone. I think all of Redskins nation joins you since.... Rex is Rex. From the allegations that Shanny said he was the starter months ago, to the rumors we heard that Shanahan thought he was the best of his draft class, its time to see what the old man has got.

We have all seen Rex flashing signs of greatness. Chicago fans are way ahead of us tempering their enthusiasm. He has cost me before. His resume, he didnt tank the team enough to let the defense get them to the super bowl. No easy feat and he deserves credit, but he is an up and down guy.

I have questioned some of Shanny's personnel moves (think its his weak point) but I have said from the moment we inked him to a 3 year after ~ 1 full game of preseason action. Shanahan obviously likes him, and tonight we will see why. Its not going out onto a ledge to think anyone beats out Rex.

Polomalu and Harrison... Steelers D isn't their D without them. Plus they played the whole half, not one series. I'm kind of worried cause both skins and eagles ran pretty well vs our front 7 starters.

Plus yeah that Eagles LB are weak and Vick made some horrid decisions. Pitt still didn't use whole playbook. Ran some fire x ILB and got Vick off balance. Made him throw before he was ready or saw whole field.

Skins didn't have Cooley, Torain or Beck.

Come on, though. The Skins looked far more cohesive than the Eagles when the 1s were in. At very least, give them that.

I don't trust Vick. In fact, I'm avoiding him in fantasy.

They won't win the Superbowl, but they'll be a playoff team and do well.

The only reason to avoid Vick is injuries.

Without a doubt. But both teams scored 0 pts vs first team offense.

I'm just trying to give an unbiased viewpoint based on being a Steeler fan and knowing that team inside and out. Can take if FWIW of course. I'd be supremely happy with Hightower and in fact, I'm hoping to get him in my league!

A good chunk of starters are not playing tonight on Defense. Good opportunity for some youngsters to get reps.

Mike Patrick in the booth is great, but Doc Walker? He is fine on the radio, but when he calls games he makes Chris Berman sound good. And Charles Mann on the sideline? I am interested to see how he does. So far so good I guess.

PS: I take that back. Charles Mann is talking to us, the audience, like we are 4. Toddler talk.

Hightower is a FINE stud

As long as he isn't fumbling, he's a good deal.

Sellers costs Beck a TD pass. Sellers and TE do not go together.

Indy isn't much of a pre-season test, but I would still rather the starters look good against scrubs, then the reverse.

More proof that McIntosh is not the answer at ILB. Riley or Fox have to start next to Fletcher.

Indi goes 0-4 as a rule. I think they went 0-5 (HoF game) and won the super bowl.

Yeah I heard on the radio they are something like 14-30 in the pre-season over the last decade. I would still rather the Skins look good against this team than not.
