We are improving, this time gifted only one goal, though avoidable were all three. CSKA's youngster line was a non-factor, Stana was poor but Surovy had the best game of his KHL career.

Avangard's young players (Kalinin, Averin, Berdnikov) looked good against Severstal. Kalinin created a lot of chances. Him and Berdnikov assisted Nesterov's winning goal. Averin scored a goal not long after.

Cherepovets lack of PP production cost them that game also. Didn't score any goals after a 5 minute major on Lyamin and then Nesterov scored seconds after for winning goal. Cervenka also had a SH goal on a breakaway.
