Rangers Acquire Bouchard, Staubitz From Wild Pierre-Marc Bouchard has played his entire career in Minnesota to this point.
NEW YORK CITY, NY - New York Rangers GM ducksfan15109 has announced the team's first trade under his management. The deal sent Wojtek Wolski and enforcer Mike Rupp to the Wild for forwards Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Brad Staubitz. "I believe this deal will help deepen our offensive lineup." Said ducksfan, "Bouchard is a player with tons of skill, the only thing holding him back has been injuries. As for Staubitz, he's a tough customer that can step in and patrol the ice when needed." ducksfan also offered his best wishes to the players departing the Rangers. "We're not done yet." he stated later, "We've still got quite a bit of work to do, so it's time to roll up our sleeves and get it done."

The Jets want to deal and deal. We are looking to get some new blood and contend for the Cup. All players and picks are available. We can do big deals but prefer to do 1 for 1 or 2 for 2 swaps. If you need a goalie, Mason and Pavelec are available. If you need d-men, got 3 good ones in Buf, Bogo, Enstrom. Forwards? Ladd, Burm, Little, Wheeler, Kane, Antropov, etc. Shoot me a PM and we can discuss a deal!
The wild has made another blockbuster with current #1 goaltender Nick backstrom. After see star players burns, koviu, havalt, heatley all leave town this offseason he also wanted out as the wild look to get younger and better and a go in a full out rebuild of this organization
so heres the deal
It address our biggest hole in our system( wing depth) and we got it. The wild look to build on their young core and hopefully fail for nail and then next year grab mackinnon or jones. This is a three year plan to become Contenders in this league and it starts today
Goaltender market is at an all time low and we didn't get what his vaue is to this team but he wants out of this rebuilding club and i dont disagree with him vets will not want to play for the Wild

confirm We finally get the steady, durable, starting goaltender that we have not had since Billy Smith. Speaking of netminders, this deal makes Al Montoya and Evgeni Nabokov expendable. Also, Rick DiPietro has been sent to the minors If anyone would like to claim him, do so now
Mikael Granlund 1.2m 3 year ELC
Charlie Coyle 850K 3 year ELC
Jamie Oleksiak 950K 3 year ELC
all three will be part of the wild core

Isles Finally Acquire Steady Netminder, Move On From DiPietro Backstrom was a major reason for Minnesota's success
UNIONDALE, NY - Today, the New York Islanders exorcised one of their worst demons. The franchise announced today that it has acquired Minnesota goaltender, Nicklas Backstrom. Going the other way back to the Wild was Kirill Petrov, Kirill Kabanov, and a 2nd and 3rd round pick. That move alone would have made Isles fans happy, but there was another present. General Manager OrangeZebra also confirmed that today, the organization placed injury-plagued netminder Rick DiPietro on waivers, with the intention of burying him in the minors. By executing this move, the Islanders have much more flexibility in net moneywise, as Backstrom will serve as a mentor to the Isles young goalie corps of Anders Nilsson and Kevin Poulin.
GM SUMMARY: The Islanders need to bolster their blueline by adding a Top 4 Defenseman. Another need, although much less important than bringing in a defenseman, is to bring in a high scoring vet to play alongside John Tavares.
