Burleson is a solid backup and fits well into Detroit's system. So I'm probably going to keep him for now despite having good depth at WR. At least, until I see someone better waived or need replacements in a bye week.
I'm on the fence with Starks as in addition to Grant, you also have Kuhn and Rodgers. New England is a bit muddled too but this is a ppr league.
I think I will just hold out for now
Fair enough. Just something to think about though. Word is Starks has been outplaying Grant at camp, and I think it's safe to assume we basically know for a fact that Woodhead will never be more than a flex plug-in, so to me I'd rather have a guy on my bench that could be the starter on the best offense in the league than a guy whose ceiling is an RB4. No potential with Woodhead.

Overall, pretty pleased. Wanted 2 elite players at QB/RB/WR and I feel I got that. CJ better not holdout though.

I have a ton of WR's that I might try and move to shore up my backfield a bit. Kevin Boss is on the waiver wire and I like his production potential as a guy off the wire, with nobody backing up Finley it'd make sense, but I'm not sure who to get rid of... I don't like Sidney Rice but I don't want to get drop him for nothing. Jason Hill's upside makes me want to hang on to him. Thoughts/ suggestions on my team?

I know I have a lot of my eggs in Houston's basket, but I think I've got solid enough backups. Brown and Owens were reaches, but I wasn't in love with anyone left. By the time I have to worry about bye's, I'll see if Brown breaks out like he has the ability to and what TO's status is.
Ugh, had the first overall in a 12 team. I HATE having a top 2 or 3 pick. Also Bowe/Moreno/Lawfirm went 3 straight picks before my 4/5 and I, in frustration, kinda threw them away on Benson and Harvin. Then Julio Jones snatched right in front of me again.

Overall I like it a lot better than the previous one, but I have little depth. Hoping for no injuries.
14 team league, standard scoring, Head to Head, $60 a team. Had the #1 pick (WHICH I HATE).
QB Tony Romo
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Ahmad Bradshaw
WR Greg Jennings
WR Julio Jones
WR Sidney Rice
FLEX Ladainian Tomlinson
TE Dustin Keller
DEF New England
K Neil Rackers

QB Matt Ryan
QB Vince Young
RB Roy Helu
RB Toby Gerhart

WR Eddie Royal
TE Kevin Boss
A few teams have iffy QB situations, going to try and deal either Romo or Ryan for a solid RB or WR, or just keep them both and start whoever has the better matchup that week. Took Vince Young late just in case Michael Vick goes down (strong possibility), and took Gerhart for insurance if Peterson goes down

Yeah I don't believe it makes sense to have 2 potential top 8 QBs if you can only play one. Rice is talented but that Seattle air attack could be downright awful. If you can turn a package involving Romo/Ryan into a solid WR2 and a more bankable flex play than LT, I'd do it. I'm not sure what to expect from Helu but he could be a nice sleeper if either Hightower or Torain get hurt (decent odds, I'd say).
So just had my draft. 12 team standard scoring and had the second overall pick, which isn't ideal. Let me know what you think.
That's about as good as it gets for a 12-teamer. I think Foster will be fine this year, really like McFadden and Nicks where you got them (along with Austin), Knowshon could be in for a big year if he stays healthy, I think Romo could be a top 5 QB, and Daniels is a steal at 95. As was mentioned, I'd probably try to grab Tate if he's available, just in case.

Thanks for the input. Pretty stoked about it. And ya, Tate was picked up a few rounds from the end.
ok experts....how did i do? sorta new to fantasy, not overly happy about this team:
I picked 11th overall out of 12 teams....basic yahoo settings
i am kind of torn who to play in the flex spot....
QB : Rodgers
WR : Mike Williams / Jeremy Maclin
RB : Maurice Jones Drew / Knowshon Moreno
TE : Vernon Davis
W/R/T : Ryan Mathews
K : Garrett Hartley
D : Detroit Lions
BENCH :
Steve Smith (carolina) - maybe he'll bounce back?
Brandon Jacobs
Johnny Knox
Jared Cook
Donovan McNabb
Marion Barber
Terrell Owens - maybe a team signs him later in the year
thinking about dropping Owens for some potential sleeper...anybody know of any?

thanks haha sorry for the giant/unorganized post!
It's so tough to say, fantasy success is really determined by matchups and who stays healthy. If your starters stay healthy you have a fighting chance. For now I'd probably leave Mathews in the flex spot and if Ahmad Bradshaw or Matt Forte get hurt you could put Jacobs or Barber in there.
Spitballing on some sleepers here: Nate Burleson, Robert Meachem, Early Doucet, Eric Decker (WRs), Ben Tate, Jerome Harrison, Ronnie Brown (RBs). In a 12 team league some of those guys were probably drafted, but check your waiver wire.

thanks man...felt so much better about my drafted team last year...i feel i have too many question marks...
like you said, matchups and a little bit of luck go a long way so we will see

Weak at WR but really solid at RB and everywhere else. I think Little is going to be a stud. Starks will start if Grant gets banged up again.
Drafted for my most important money league yesterday. 12 team PPR, 9th pick.

This teams name should be 'High Risk, High Reward.'
Not in love with RB situation, so I took a bunch of fliers on some upside/backup guys. Pretty much hoping Foster is out for a real long time lol. I am in love w/ my WR core though.
