This teams name should be 'High Risk, High Reward.'

Not in love with RB situation, so I took a bunch of fliers on some upside/backup guys. Pretty much hoping Foster is out for a real long time lol. I am in love w/ my WR core though.
wow your backs are pretty much awefull! i would probably fold this team

LOL I don't think they are quite that bad. Unlike most I am actually buying a big year for Hillis, but after that...you'd better hope that at least one of your backups sees the #1 guy go down.

I assume that's the Seattle Mike Williams. Either way I really like this draft. There are only a handful of every-down backs and you've managed to snag two. Almost all of your skill players are tied to good offenses. Nice one.

I'd say you have a good chance of getting paid, health permitting. Not much else to add.

Just had my first of 2 league drafts last night, had the 10th out of 10 picks... Round drafted in () and we start 1QB,2RB,2WR,1TE,1K,1D and 1 Flex

QB- Philip Rivers (1)
RB- Rashard Mendenhall (2)
RB- Matt Forte (3)
RB- Ben Jarvus Green-Ellis (7)
RB- Beanie Wells (8)
RB- Ryan Torain (10)
WR- Miles Austin (4)
WR- Stevie Johnson (5)
WR- AJ Green (9)
WR- Antonio Brown (13)
WR- Johnnie Knox (11)
TE- Dallas Clark (6)
K- Nate Kaeding (14)
D- Chargers (12)
D- Raiders (15)

I went a little Charger heavy but I expect big things from them...CJ and Arian went 6th and 9th, so I was happy to get the best QB and RB left, Rivers is a top 3 QB and Mendenhall is an elite RB.

Unless you have some type of inflated QB scoring, 10 is way too early for Rivers. Your running backs are decent, especially with things looking like Beanie could have a very productive year. Your receivers are ok. This team's just ok for a 10-teamer.

Passing TD's are 6 points, bonus points (5) for 250+ yards a game, and Vick,Rodgers and Brees went 2-3-4.The only other option I was pondering besides Rivers was MJD,Turner and Gore but I wanted a stud QB and with bonus points at only 250 yards Rivers might even be the #1 QB.I agree, typically QBs are not worthy that high but if I went RB-RB first 2 picks my choices at QB woulda been between Eli/Flacco/Ryan.

Here's another one I did, nfl.com league 10 team:

QB - Matt Stafford
RB - Ray Rice
RB - LeGarrette Blount
WR - Roddy White
WR - Mike Williams (TB)
TE - Lance Kendricks
RB/WR/TE - Felix Jones
WR/TE - Anquan Boldin
DEF - Houston

BN
Sam Bradford
BenJarvus Green-Ellis
Julio Jones
Ben Tate
Kendall Hunter
Malcom Floyd

Aside from the volume of week 5 and 8 bye weeks and my QBs I am happy.

It was crazy how QBs went in this league. One guy took Vick and Brady 1st and 2nd round....one guy took Brees, Ryan, Roethlisberger, and Kolb.

Ben Tate got cut today and your QBs are pretty bad for a 10 teamer.

It's New England's Brandon Tate that was cut. Ben Tate is still with Houston.

10 team league drafted last weekend. Have my 10 team winners league draft coming up in an hour.

5th pick. I think I absolutely abused this draft apart from my connection dropping in the 5th round and picking Britt.

Rivers
Chris Johnson
Forte
Fitzgerald
Britt
Colston
Graham

Josh Brown
New Orleans

Percy Harvin
Ryan Grant
Johnny Knox
Mercedes Lewis
Joe Flacco
Fred Jackson

Will update after the draft tonight. Doubtful that I'll be able to snag CJ and Fitz with my first two picks but we'll see.

I just have to ask why so many people still do 10 team leagues? Are they just new to fantasy football or are they just scared to join the big boys in real leagues that are 12+ teams? 10 team leagues are so amateurish and every team gets loaded and are no fun. 12+ leagues involve thinking and strategy when you draft.

That starting lineup is great for a 14 team league. Bench isnt the best but thats what happens with 14 teams, but that lineup is incredibly solid. You may be starting Kolb week 1 because its looking like Manning will be out.

Check out my team in #55. I could have had Marshall as my #2 WR, but I am very very high on Boldin this year.

Says the guy with a 3rd string RB on his roster. Man I wish I was in your league to battle for the honor of having Stevan Ridley and Bernard Scott riding my bench.

14-team mock picking in the 8 spot. I think I came away pretty nice:

QB-Aaron Rodgers (Round 1)
RB-Frank Gore (round 2)
RB-LeGarette Blount (Round 3)
WR-Dwayne Bowe (Round 4)
WR-Marques Colston (Round 5)
WR-AJ Green (Round 9)
TE-Kellen Winslow (round 6)
K-Jason Hanson (round 15)
Def-Chicago (round 8)

BN-Joseph Addai (round 7)
BN-Jonathan Stewart (round 10)
BN-Brandon Pettigrew (round 11)
BN-Roy Williams (round 12)
BN-Kevin Walter (round 13)
BN-Andy Dalton (round 14)

I think Dalton could be a nice sleeper backup QB pick, I'm pretty high on him. Would like an improvement at back, but when you're in a 14-team league that's tough. Gore/Blount should be adequate. Love the value I got on my receivers/TEs (although bench pickings were slim--then again receiver is usually the position you can get good bench guys off the waiver wire during the season). And Addai/Stewart is a solid bench duo--I think Addai could be big if Manning is hurt, they will probably look at running the ball more.

What a surprise, another 10 team league player. This is exactly my whole point. You sound afraid to play in 12+ team leagues. Every team in 10 team leagues are loaded, why dont you take a step up?

3rd string RB??? What the hell roster are you looking at? My #3 RB is a starter, McGahee is the TD vulture in Denver and will start once Moreno gets injured, and Murray is Jones backup whose looked really good this preseason, and JJ loves the guy and will get more touches as the season goes on.

Pretty strong for a 14 teamer. A rookie WR and QB on the same team is a gamble, but I'd rather go with Green, than Dalton. If Gore stays healthy, that is a strong combo. Just curious what other WRs were still available when you took Colston in the 5th? Pettigrew is a nice pickup.

The next 5 WRs off the board after Colston were Collie, Holmes, Britt, Harvin, and Santana Moss. Dalton is a gamble, but for a backup QB I feel comfortable with it because I am really high on him. Branch and Edwards were available when I grabbed Green, but I figured since Green is basically going to be the #1 option on the Bengals he should get more targets.

At any rate, it's just a mock, I've very rarely done 14-team leagues so wanted to do a mock.
