Rangers Sign Nylander!

Tsn.ca

The New York Rangers signed Micheal Nylander to a 3 yr / 8.9 M $

The Bruins now lose their 2nd line Centre. They should get a 3rd round pick back as compensation.

I just enjoy so much seeing the B's roster decompose "à vue d'oeil"

The only bright side for Bruins fans is that we will have a lot of draft picks next year. Just so you guys know, it really sucks to be a bruins fan right now

Well I am sure they are worried about the lockout. But they are some chance there will be no lockout. They are afraid to give some big contracts now , I can understand them. But there are some limits , Nylander is a decent center and he's not so expensive. He did a great job in the playoffs , I think he was one of the best B's player in the playoffs. They lost O'Donnell,Nylander but they resign Samsonov but just for one year. There was some trade rumors surrounding Big Joe , I am sure they were false.

I agree with some poster here.I wonder what they are doing ?!?

They also lost Knuble, he is solid.

There's I think 2 players unsigned:
Green
Murray

The thing is are they going for CROSBY?

No one knows what they are doing except our GM. It's really upsetting because we could have had a good team. The only players we have left that are good NHLers are Thornton, Samsonov, Bergeron, Boynton, Gonchar, Raycroft, Axelsson, and Lapointe(even though he has a huge salary)

No way, they wont be that bad. Even with the loose of some of there better players. They still have some talented players and a solid young goalie. Im sure the GM will do something, we just dont no when and what.....

What is Mike O'Connell doing??? Gotta be tough for the fans in Boston right now... This is gonna make big Joe even more pi$$ed with management... are the B's going to self destruct and try to land Sidney Crosby????

As a Hab fan, I firmly support the Bruins' decision not to sign Nylander or any of their other free agents.

Great job, B's management. I say contract extensions for all!!!

Listen, it's not that hard to figure out what the Bruins are up to.

They feel that there's going to be a lockout, and when the new CBA is announced, there's going to be a salary cap of some kind.

IF that happens, then they feel the market will be flooded, and then they'll be able to sign players at very favorable prices.

Gator Mike, I'm starting to think the pickins' may be slim when that happens. Jacobs is banking a lot on busting the union. From what I hear Gillet is as much a hawk in Jacob's camp, but the Habs are looking to solidify their roster. I'm not sure how O'Connell's hands are tied but I guess it'll all be irrelevant if there's no season.
The B's have a good young nucleus anyways, I just can't see them as a bottom feeder.

No, we are always screwed. Allison was traded away, Guerin left, Mclaren was traded away, our Owner has been cheap in the past by not trying to win cups(Our GM said at the deadline that he went to trade for Nylander and Gonchar was that the past years, they had no chance of winning a cup) and many more things have happened.
