How has Andrew Ryan looked? Ranked around the second round for this years draft
Ryan has looked good. He's out 4-6 weeks with a broken ankle right now. Took a spill into the boards at practise. But he looks to developing very nicely. Gained a step in his skating. Still lacks some explosiveness to his game, but he's still only 17, so not a cause for concern. The kid has a ton of potential.
I'm not too sure, I've never had luck at finding streams on myp2p and the like.
On another note....GOOD LAWD!, MacKinnon is unbelievably good
Niceee!!! How's he looked so far, i've been listening and there seems to be a good amount of action in the offensive end each time he's on. He's playing with Ciampini and Ashley but i'm sure once Frk is back that line will be a dominant force!!!
I am watching the Mooseheads game on tv now and so far MacKinnon looks good and looks to be clicking well with Ashley and Ciampini. If they form a good line together, it may not hurt trying Frk on another line and spread the offense a bit more

Yah that's be beneficial for the team, but I still want to see what Frk and Mackinnon can do together, from what i've read they were buzzing together throughout the pre-season! Mooseheads too undisciplined tonight! -_-
That game was really awesome. I was actually rooting for PEI to tie it up because I wanted overtime.
MacKinnon holds the puck a lot, which led to a bit of turnover trouble, but on the other hand created plenty of offence. As he becomes more used to the speed and space restrictions of the QMJHL game he'll adapt his obvious offensive skill to it. His work on the powerplay (especially in overtime) was superb, so it seems like his only issue is space. Still, 2 assists in his first game is not too shabby.
I only started watching in the third (luckily right before the PEI player scored one of the most beautiful goals I've ever seen), but why didn't Frk play? MacKinnon, Frk, and the Ciampion could be one of the most offensively dangerous lines in the Q this year.
I'm still not confident with Terenzio in net. His glove hand is fine, but he flops too much and was saved by some bad ice on the backhand side of the net in the shootout. I love a flopper as much as the next guy but he lacks the technicality and positioning to make me confident that he can stop the puck.
BTW I'm not going to write a novel every single game lol, I'm just getting into the Mooseheads for the first time since the Sparre/Churchill/Vrana/Sharrow/Cabana era.
I saw MacKinnon on his first Q game. It was the first time I ever saw him so I didn't know what to expect. The first thing I noticed about him was his size, I was expecting him to be alot smaller for a 16 year old. He didn't play like a 16 year old, he protected the puck very well. He ended the game with 2 assists I think. Everyone keeps comparing him to Crosby because they have taken the same hockey paths so far but they play different style of games. He's a player to watch for sure but he's no Crosby, at least in my opinion but still very good.
I'm saying around a point per game this season as a 16 year old, and then next season 100+ points. I've seen him play multiple times and have been very impressed every time. I can see him going through some struggles this season where he goes a few game with no points and then gets hot for a few games and makes up for the dry spells.
I've seen both of the regular season games. I expect he'll average 1.75 to 2.25 ppg.
You may want to tone down some of those estimates...
68 game sked would put him at a 199-153 point player in your opinion...Crosby got 135 as a rookie in a more offensive era and he is by far a better player at the same age....
I think he gets 80...which is a lot for a 16 year old in this day and age...

It might have a case of wishful thinking. Looking at how high the numbers you calculated out were (I know the 199 meant to be 119), it makes me second guess my rough estimate. I'm still going to guess he hits the 100 mark this season. I'd bet money on it.
