** Only 14 pts shy of Sidney Crosby's totals in his rookie season with Rimouski ...
You have to remember Sid played less games because of the World Juniors and he would have put up over 150 points or close to it as a 16 year old, Mackinnon won't be anywhere close... I say between 90-105 is reasonable and should have a ridiculous draft year!
Who's going to be gone when Martin Frk and Andrew Ryan are back? Everyone has been performing pretty well so far this season, seems like it's going to be a tough choice.
i think ryan faulkenham will be the odd man out when frk gets back, not too sure when ryan tho, we have alot of depth.
also, has anyone heard anything about Jonathan Dourin,How is he doing this year? "stats wise" and does he want to play for the moose? of could we use him as bait at the draft and hope a Quebec team has the 1st overall?

Drouin is tearing up AAA, he said he's keeping his options open, I dont think he's against the idea of playing in Halifax. I think it's something else.....
He's good friends with Anthony Duclair I wouldnt be surprised if he got traded to QC and reported there.
This site says he has 13 pts in 5 games so far this year. I don't know much about him but he seems to have some hype and would be a nice addition to next year's team for sure.
At the Armada game tonight. Saw MacKinnon play live for the first time. He really is something else. Complete package. People in Halifax should enjoy watching him now because in 2013-2014 he'll be in the NHL for sure as an 18 year old. I'm a big fan of Couturier and watched him play 7 or 8 times when he was a 16 year old with DRU in 08-09. They are different players, but I'm much more impressed with MacKinnon.
I was at the lions rink on Monday and I overheard some parents talking about the lions.....
One parent of one of the players has said that his son is going to college.... It's a 95 born player because the mother he was talking too said that his son could play one more year for them.

Could be Drouin.... Idk though.
Could be Anthony DeLuca, who signed a deal with Vermont University.

Yup, cause the player in question isn't a Q pick cause I heard the words he could get drafted, maybe the mother wasn't very knowledgeable about this stuff idk.
If there’s a dark cloud behind the Halifax Mooseheads’ current hot streak, it’s that two of their best players can’t shake their concussion symptoms.
Defenceman Steve Gillard, who has been out for the past nine games, and right-winger Martin Frk, who has missed the entire season, aren’t expected back for this weekend’s homestand.
It was hoped Gillard would be back on Friday against the Moncton Wildcats, but he suffered a setback on the weekend and will miss at least another week. Frk has been completely off for the past week and appears to be facing a long road back, even once he is finally symptom-free.
“With a concussion, you can’t train, you can’t stay in shape, so it’s been two months that he hasn’t worked out,” Mooseheads general manager Cam Russell said.
The status of the Mooseheads’ other concussed player, goaltender Anthony Terenzio, is not yet known.
On the bright side, forward Andrew Ryan — out since training camp with a broken ankle — is described as “probable” for the weekend. He’s been skating in practice for the past two weeks, getting back into game shape, and he accompanied the team on last week’s road trip.
