...it was also helmet to helmet . I know he had the elbow out there initially but the proper technique now is to place your helmet in the chest of the player.

A couple of years ago, not a thing.

These days, he either has to hit him lower (and not helmet first), or go for the ball.

17 teams at Pryor's workout. Broncos not one of em.

Not a big fan of Pryor, but I thought it was pretty interesting they didn't even look.

Just seems like the league has gone soft recently.

I hope Dennis Allen keeps up the blitzing on defense. He blitzed more last night than Wink did all last year.

We looked solid on defense except the first drive.

Not me. They QB situation is screwy enough already. Why even consider throwing another name into the mix.

As for the Rox...pretty solid article here about the Ubaldo trade...

Don't need another project.

The Raiders took him that should tell you everything.

Orton named the #1

If Tebow didn't have such a PR following, I honestly think they'd cut him.

At this point he's a detriment to the team both financially (I heard he's making $7M this year) and he's plugging up a roster spot. Disagree with me? Does Tebow have any more ability at quarterback than Terrell Pryor does? honestly?

How is Tebow taking up a roster spot? All teams carry 3 QBs. So no one is losing a spot due to Tebow so quit your *****in.

Is it Tebow's fault he's making 7 mil a season? Nope. Its Josh McDaniels and the Denver brass for thinking it was a great idea to take Tebow in the 1st rd.

Does Tebow have more ability than Pryor? Yep..Pryor is terrible and will become a WR, whereas Tebow actually has the skills to be a QB if people would give him more than 5 seconds to become a QB. Everyone expects like instantaneous results, when realistically he was really raw and was going to need 3-4 years of teaching a practice to become a QB at this level.

Tebow is not a determent to the team, but you want to know who is...ORTON why you ask because he is a loser plain and simple and is getting paid like he has won the Superbowl, 9mil for that chump? How does a player who has gone a combined 11-18 in the only stat that matters get paid like that? And please don't give me that bullcrap of well its not all his fault his defense was terrible, it starts and finishes with the QB. Just like in hockey where everything is based around a goalie. No one says, "man, Jay McClement was terrible tonight" they say, "man Budaj was awful tonight."

You really want a player that is holding the team back its Kyle Freaking Orton, this team will not be better until he is gone and rids of his cancer. Am I saying Tebow is the answer...NO, but I am saying Kyle Orton is not the answer. Get rid of him and the team will get better. You ever wonder why other teams didn't want Orton in a trade? Its because they rather have players like Tavaris Jackson or Kevin Kolb because they know Orton is a loser and won't get them anywhere.

Seriously they are going to have a hard time getting rid of Tebow now because he has such a fan following.

They've created a PR nightmare for themselves.

I will make a standing bet that Tim Tebow doesn't lead a team to a winning record in the next 8 years. $25. (condition: he has to actually start at QB for the team, not run a wildcat play for a TD every now and then a la William "Refridgerator" Perry).

Alex White will make his Rockies debut tonight. Is it too much to expect a 27 strikeout, 81 pitch perfect game.

I'll make a standing bet for 100 that he never becomes a full-time starter on a team that isn't in the bottom five in passing yards.

I just don't see that. I wish he was -- not because I think Tebow is awesome or anything, but because Orton isn't taking us anywhere. He's the guild's downward path to stagnation (any day i can use a dune quote is a good day).

Tebow is all boom or bust. Especially with Andrew Luck coming and this big QB draft, I can't imagine why we wouldn't go all or nothing instead of this mediocrity BS.

I will say this: Von Miller looks great in pass rushing. he's got all kinds of things to work on in coverage and such, but man, he looks like someone shot him out of a cannon rushing the passer.

I second that statement...actually I think it will be quicker than that. Not for Tebow but for Quinn. My guess is that we start 1-2 and that will be that for Orton.

I see us getting smacked by the Raiders, look at the last time Orton played the Raiders, not much has changed since then so that will be a loss. I expect to beat Cinny but that isn't a guarantee. Then going to Tennessee isn't exactly a walk in the park as their defense is still good. There is a possibility they could be 0-3, and that would be the end Orton, I can only hope so much.

There's no greater gauntlet for a QB than a preseason game versus the Buffalo Bills.

Well if not Tebow, bring on the Adam Weber era. I've had all the Orton I can stand and not sure I can cheer for a domer. Looks like he has the full backing of Brandon Lloyd too. He threw the ball before the receiver made the cut!!111!!11! Woah...Merry Christmas!

Also masterful PR job by the Broncos to completely lower expectations on Tebow and turn the tide of public opinion against him. Haven't seen anything like it since they portrayed Xanders as a bumbling, spineless yes man victimized by the evil Josh McDaniels with no role whatsoever in personnel decisions.

Interesting article on the subject. Tebow is 4th string now?
