I'm not afraid of this second half if we can learn to run again.

Oakland hasn't thrown the ball downfield yet and our defense is looking good.

There's no way I will watch Orton all year long.

and there's the Orton (and Quinn, last game) I remember. When the live bullets start firing or the pressure is on, suddenly they're no longer worth a damn.

Playing Orton for this season is such a ****ing waste. The team sucks. We're rebuilding. Play Tebow, how much worse could it get? And while we're at it, we might actually get an answer as to whether he's legit or not!

Orton with a great game, threw for 300 yards, what more can you ask for?

You bet for the Broncos? Haven't you heard the rules... 1A. Always bet against the Broncos

1B. Always bet against the Broncos when playing the Raiders

1C. If Orton is listed as the starter...Bet against the Broncos

I'm wondering...I didn't see the game, but from people I talked to who did, apparently Orton didn't look good...if that is true, then it's only a matter of time before Tebow gets the ball with the mentality being "It can't be any worse..."

And honestly, if by game 3 or 4 they look like they did last night (again, according to people who watched the game) then that mentality could be right...it couldn't be any worse

Here's the thing. I fully expect Orton to show on Sunday and light it up. They are playing Cincy, at home, and not on national TV, no real pressure. He'll be a superstar.

yep. then we'll lose the next 9 straight imo. hell, we could be 1 - 15 easily. I see no team on that schedule I think we're better than, and it's only going to get worse as injuries eat away at this, the thinnest team in the league. The best course would be to trade Orton to the Colts right the heck now before his value plummets.

thanks McD, for all that depth from your drafts.

If Orton continues his Red Zone struggles, I expect in a couple weeks Tebow will be brought in for some "trick plays" close to the goal line.

Why wait a couple weeks? I thought they should have done it yesterday. I'm not a Broncos or Tebow fan but he is a better option inside the 20. They don't even need to run "trick" plays, just run regular plays with him in the game. He should be able to make something happen because of his mobility.

Very disappointing game, we reverted to 2010. No run game. We gave up on that. No run defense. Couldn't execute.

I'll give it until week 4 for Orton.

Michael Young hitting .335

Shoulda, woulda, coulda....

I do wonder what the Rockies could have accomplished if they had gotten him. Sometimes I think we need a winner veteran presence on this team.

The bad thing is, it was for Eric Young + :shake head

I think Cargo, Tulo, Him, Fowler, and Todd could have carried us to a playoff berth easily

Another regrettable rockies decision.

Seriously, how does an organization that makes this many mistakes still have a good team?
