Tickets on sale 20th Aug; Demand-based pricing starting 30 Sept

9am at the Box Office, Noon online. Prices the same as last season.

Starting 30 Sept, tickets are subject to "demand-based pricing," which basically means they can jack up the prices on popular games.

guessing the 3 games vs SJS and dec 2nd vs devils will be a bit pricey unless you get the tickets before the 30th, burns coming home will get a massive ovation.

I will be out of town, away from a solid internet connection. I'm hoping that doesn't screw me over for getting decent seats for the home opener and home closer.

Those are the only two games we purchase individually. All other games are picked up through several season ticket holders we know...

Since the on-sale date is actually when I'm around for once, I might just get up early on the 20th and try and get home opener tickets.

Edit: Pre-sale through Facebook on 19 Aug, 10am.

Sucks that the Flyers aren't coming to the X this year. I was looking forward to seeing Jagr play.

Guess there's always a chance we could meet in the SCF.....

looks like Warming House gets a shot from 10am-10pm today. I'm not sure if you need anything more than the pre-sale password (like a linked WH/STH account), but if anyone wants the code just PM me.

Got my tickets for the home opener! I almost would have preferred going in person tomorrow, because Ticketmaster math means $26 + $26 = $76 somehow, but the presale was a surer thing.

Did anyone else appreciate the choosing your seat on the map thing that they have now on the ticketmaster site for the wild? I really liked it way better than selecting "best available" and hoping it selects good seats.

It's actually been that way for quite a while. Switched over in the middle of last season, I think. I like it a hell of a lot better, particularly since the "best available" thing didn't really seem to grasp that, when I'm repeatedly searching for upper deck tickets, maybe $120 seats aren't a "good alternative."

Still, though, **** Ticketmaster. $7 per ticket "convenience fee" on top of a $5 "processing fee," for $26 seats. Ridiculous.
