Basically they are 'playmakers' that don't go along with the other guys in the service rotation.

At least, that's my understanding of it.

Ahhh I get it, because if there was a rotation then everybody would have to play up front and probably would take the little guy out of the game.

The closing ceremony is being aired. The first part with all the dancing and the music was....interesting.

They just presented the medals to the Men's Marathon winner. Italy (Baldini, I think?) won it.

I really dug the Olympics this year and am very happy that all of the bad news going into the game (security issues, venues not being finished, etc.) were unfounded as there has been thankfully 0 attacks and all of the venues were functioning properly.

The athletes come on...NEXT.

This was a pretty good Summer Games. I think I enjoyed watching Sydney a little more, but this one was pretty good.

Are you serious? There were atleast two seperate incidents where a civilian found there way onto the athletics field. One idiot dove off a diving board and the other tried to tackle a marathoner.

That's not too bad all things considered. Remember Atlanta?

I know. And I am serious. Like I said, there were no attacks, no explosions, nobody died, and no one made any threats to blow anyone/anything up at the games. Those two people just caused a spectacle, they did no more harm than streakers at other sporting events.

EDIT: Just as Brad says, there were no Atlanta-incidents.

15 months to go until Sweden yet again fails to win a gold medal in the winter games. Last time was the olympic hockey gold in 1994.. I love the winter sports more than the summer sports but the winter olympics is just torture for me.
