Well it is a little dated, since my twins are now 19 and both going into 2nd. year (kinda if repeating 1st. year for one of them is really 2nd. year okay he passed but neither of us liked his grades).

As per Katherine Dolan, Connolly took part in unofficial practice along side Kessel today and liked it.

Thanks for the link! Good listen. **** the nay-sayers, Kadri is the real deal. He's going to be a big part of our core and he will have a great season coming up.

Most of those guys named in your quote aren't NHL ready now, if ever. You can't "play the kids" unless they can put in credible shifts. Besides, the team is among the very youngest even without them. We ARE "playing the kids" already.

I expect all those guys named but Kadri to be with the Marlies this year, barring crazy injuries. A Colborne or Frattin might surprise in camp, but there really aren't any spots available unless that happens.

We need an AMAZING pre-game ceremony for our first home game, not some ******** bimbo going to different cottages and stealing their water and then vandalizing the ACC rink with that nasty pissed on water!!

We need Clark, Gilmour, Sundin, Sittler, or hell **** them all, if we just get Keon himself, that'll be amazing. Have one of them lead the team to the ice or some ****, I don't know, anything is better than the crap we had last year.

Sunday night watching hockey and my wife says we have to go to the hospital because she's in labour with the twins. First child was 36 hours of labour so I wasn't in a hurry, and so I say when the game's over.

Anyway, we get to the hospital and 6 hours later she gives birth.

It is all about sharing the burden. I can sleep at the drop of a hat so I always took the late feeding and middle of the night/morning feeding. Formula, my wife was too dehydrated from carrying the twins and her doctor ordered her not to breast feed. You can of course express mothers milk so you can't use that as an excuse to not do it

Oh and when you are getting home from work, don't even bother asking if the baby needs changing because it will. Why bother changing the kid when Dad will be home in 30 minutes.

You can proactively feed the kids at certain times, you'll train them and my suggestion is about 20 minutes before the game starts. A full tummy and a couple burbs and you're good for at least 2-3 hours.

Those early days fly by and before you know it you're missing games because you have to take youngster to hockey/soccer/basketball all of the above practice.

The absolute most important part of your life will be starting soon.
36 hours..... wow. Gotta feel for the ladies. They experience something we never ever wanna go through.

love the 'feed the kid 20 minutes prior to game time' solid advice i can use. thanks for all the tips man, i'll definitely need it come october.

it's just the thought of having a kid that's got me so anxious now. i can't wait, even if I know some times might be tough.

Just that Connolly hit the ice with Kessel today and he thinks that their playing styles will complement each other well.
Its pretty exciting to see what should be our 1-2 punch on our first line working together on ice 24 days before the start of training camp. In the preseason when we see them together I'm hoping to see some immediate chemistry between them, and taking into account how well Kessel played with Lupes, gaah I'm overcome with excitement.

Barring injuries, the only open spot looks to be 3rd line winger....so that gives Kadri and Frattin the best chance of sticking around. Anyone else, would have to be blow the doors down at camp. The rest will most likely get caught in the numbers game.

Connolly is there too. He said after skating with Kessel that he and Phil will have good chemistry.
